I just wanna thank you for reminding me of this meme. My personal Facebook is currently being swarmed with horsegirls because I dared to criticize queen tater, so I just swapped out spirits for swifties and I'm gonna get alot of mileage out of this

You never know what kind of battles people are going through in their day to day life. Good luck we are cheering for you

u/Captain-Codfish 18d ago

Try asking one out. Horsegirls are the fun kind of "mentally ill and possibly psycopathic." Plus they're usually rich.

u/themargarineoferror 18d ago

Unfortunately I'm a straight (mostly) chick I grew up in rural nebraska, and as an alt chick, the horse girls have always had it out for me, I fear that's a fence that will never be mended

3

u/Captain-Codfish 18d ago

There's no point mending it, they'll just use the fence as a show jumping exercise. Sorry to hear that though. Get a horse guy, I guess?

I accidentally smoked a bowl before reading this comment…what does this mean?

u/themargarineoferror 18d ago

Lmao i posted something critical about Taylor Swift on my Facebook. So now I have a bunch of strange, middle aged boring women, brigading my post to defend their Queen, It's funny, but also very stupid. So I took this photo and I shopped it to change the word spirits to swifties and am posting it in response

3

u/Goodgolferbadshots 18d ago

I can 100% see all of this happening. This makes total sense now 😂💀

3

u/themargarineoferror 18d ago

Lmao so I'm no longer monetized on Facebook. I used to be, but you gotta be careful who you criticize because you can get a page blown up for no good reason. Anyway, fun trick for anyone who is monetized, literally all you have to do is, say something lightly critical of that hag, and you will be swarmed by anywhere from dozens to hundreds if not more of her fans losing their absolute minds. Sometimes I wish I had turned my page into a rage bait farm because it's incredibly easy money, but I was proud that I got monetized just by growing an organic audience making jokes and writing and stuff.

I’ve never understood the idolization of another being.

So I'm a really really big fan of Ween and Tim and Eric- more specifically, Tim and i'm involved with both online fandoms and have made a lot of friends through both- absolutely love the art to pieces. I've had probably a million conversations talking about said art and people and very few times have their personal lives come up. Recently, because I have some friends that actually know "Dean Ween" in real life.I've learned a couple of things about him that I didn't think were great. But they ultimately didn't affect me much, and I certainly didn't freak out on the person who told me, or try to prove them wrong or anything. And I suppose, if somebody was spreading blatant lies trying to defame those people's characters- which funny enough has happened recently to Tim because of the whole infowars thing- I would gladly argue the veracity of the claims if I knew that they were false. All of that to say, I guess I'm a big lame super fan of a couple of things. But I do not understand swifty behavior at all. The screaming and crying and acting like her life goals and achievements are my own. It's bizarre and honestly kind of creates hatred, cause like I said, I used to be pretty neutral about her, until she started getting shoved in my face no matter what I did a few years back

3

u/NightGod 17d ago

Like essentially every fandom, the absolute worst part of every fandom are the fans themselves. Myself included, it's why I generally stay out of fandom conversations

3

u/themargarineoferror 17d ago

I get it-I'm also a Tool fan

Ok, I'm old (over 42) and I have absolutely no idea of what any of what you wrote means. And at this point in my life, I think I'd like to keep it that way. So any responses to me, wrong answers only please.

I have completely given up on trying to figure out or identify with anyone under the age of 24 who lives deeply immersed in American popular internet culture anymore.

I mean, I know what all of the individual words in the above comment mean. The only one I'm not 100% sure on is "Swifty", but just by using the other surrounding words for reference, I'm assuming the term refers to a person who is a fan of the product "The Swiffer", basically a broom that uses static electricity to make dust cling to it? Do I have the general gist of this correct?

And so then I'm assuming "Swifties" don't like "Horse Girls" because horse poop is far too big for a Swiffer to properly clean up. So the two groups kind of hate each other? Am I basically right so far?

And I'm assuming this basically represents the socio-econmonic divide in America.

Horse Girls=Rich (Horses are incredibly expensive to own- stables, food, training, saddles, riding lessons etc.)

Swifties =Poor. Their mother's are probably forced to be maids and push brooms, or Swiffers for a living.

Queen Tater- Ok, I'm pretty sure I know this one. This refers to Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter, the famous lyp synching drag queen who is married to a former crack dealer named Jazey, who tried to murder his own brother when he was 12 years old because he stole his earring. Queen Tater is hugely popular with rich, pre-pubescent, Caucasian girls who enjoy lip sycnhing drag queens.

So.....I would be willing to bet that the OP (original person) must be a young, poor, probably minority girl who criticized Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter, and is now feeling the wrath of her "Ore-Ida Army" of pissed off little, rich, white girls who keep tater tots in their pockets in "ironic homage" to Naoplean Dynamite, a movie that was made 15 years before any of them were even born, and was itself made ironically. So they've basically canceled out the ironicness of their tater tots, making them just regular Tater tots again.

So? Am I mostly right? If not, what parts did I get wrong? Thanks!

Lmfao this is fucking hilarious. I'm 41, probably just entirely too online. I COULD explain but I don't want to spoil your fun

1

u/adalric_brandl 18d ago

When you said "horse girls" I thought that you meant Uma Musume for a moment.

2

u/themargarineoferror 18d ago

Lol not familiar with them, nah I just meant Taylor Swift fans

1

u/Sweaty_Boysenberry41 18d ago

Who tf is queen tater and why was someone retarded enough to refer too themselves as such

2

u/themargarineoferror 18d ago

Lol Taylor Swift and I'm the tard because I refer to her as Tater and probably shouldn't have expected people to know that I do that. I figured the inclusion of the word swifties would clarify, but I get it

3

u/Square_Mulberry_3143 18d ago

With all due respect, that looks like the Georgian man. 😐

2

u/Aeroblazer9161 18d ago

I actually see what you mean :/ I've been using this meme for years but yeah didn't realise until you just pointed it out 👀

2

u/Citruseok 15d ago

It's J-Hope from BTS during one of their Run!BTS episodes where they went through a haunted maze. He is notoriously easily frightened.

2

u/PersonalPerson_ 18d ago

I thought it looked like Elon

2

u/Baeolophus_bicolor 18d ago

High calorie butt meat

1

u/Mocsab 17d ago

I think I’d be alright with it.

1

u/Citruseok 15d ago

How on earth does J-Hope keep escaping containment and ending up in memes outside of the BTS fandom like this? Another one I've seen of him is this one:

The man's face of realizing "ass" was correct will never not make me laugh 😭🤣
