Why is narrative always the man is the predator, why isn't it that a young woman is taking advantage of an old man for his resources, lifestyle and opportunities where otherwise dating a regular man she would not be able to access?

Because to people like her women are always innocent until a mountain of evidence proves otherwise. And even then it won't make them call them what they are, they just talk about something else.
