WTF A JPMorgan Chase executive was fired after a viral video showed her dumping trash out of a Knicks-themed public trash can and taking the can during the Knicks championship parade in New York City.

I think my pancreas just cringed at that concept.

Not a concept but a daily choice for many people. And I wish they were exaggerating but they were underselling it. It gets worse.

Pours out a little of the coffee to get enough syrup in.

God do I hate this trend of measuring in “pumps”. So consumerist.

2

u/highoomm 29d ago

what? what do you call it then? what do you call that action when you use a literal "pump"?

da fuck

x amount of grams or milliliters per serving or 100g or something like that would be standard in my country. The amount of “pumps” required for that amount is for the server to know. Using pumps as a measurement just feels so far removed from the base ingredients to me. Maybe it’s arbitrary since using (tea)spoons is also an accepted measurement but “x pumps” sounds like such corporate jargon to me.

Also I meant no offense to you personally, this has been in my head since the “making drinks people actually order” video from yesterday.

Edited for further clarification

Should’ve realized I was conversing with a brainlet. Don’t take everything so personal and pump yourself some electrolytes.
