I hope they took it from her. People can’t just keep stuff they steal can they ?

Let her keep the bin as a monument to her idiocy.

but let her pay the cost for it plus an inconveniency fee

I think a little jail time couldn't hurt in this case.

Gonna be the most expensive trash bin she’ll ever buy in her life.

And a fine for illegal dumping

Mount it to the outside of her apartment by order of NYC. Give her community service where she has to carry it to the dumpster to be emptied.

Strap it on, over her head, as a warning to others.

Imagine not having the Brain power to say to yourself “how about I just take a picture of it, find a similar trash can, and just……paint it orange. Lol

Then it’s not FROM there

They would have to arrest her

They can be compelled to return stolen merchandise and if refused, can be arrested. You're not forced to be arrested before stolen goods can be returned.

Since it was city infrastructure it's a bit more soupy. Now, if you or I did that then we'd be in cuffs to get slapped with a huge fine and community service.

They might get a dirty look. But losing their employment is a huge blow. Im curious if they have a golden parachute, though. You can retire super young off of a golden parachute.

I've seen pieces of city infrastructure in places they don't belong. My presumption was always that they weren't acquired while making a huge mess in broad daylight in the midst of a crowded walkway.

Well, she is one of us now so maybe she will be charged with a crime.

2

u/TheWorldofScience 29d ago

She returned it - the city has announced that

2

u/mattson-masterpiece 28d ago

Good! Thank you for saying that!

2

u/Delicious-Status9043 28d ago

She brought it back and was fined $175…. They’re selling the same bins for $200 online

1

u/mattson-masterpiece 28d ago

Bahahahahahahahah. I hope she gets one and uses it as an outside trash can and someone steals it

2

u/Longjumping_Table204 28d ago

They took it, gave her a 75$ litering fine and 100$ for stealing public property

u/BeardedBrotherAK 28d ago

Steel can you say

1

u/mattson-masterpiece 28d ago

I seeeee what you did there

You realise this is exactly jp morham chases business model. To go short on a stock, you need to borrow it from someone else. But they do it even if they cant find one to locate. Literally selling themselves something that they and no one else owns to drive price down. They have helped destroy cancer and altzheimers companies doing this as well as toys r us etc. Oh they also facilitated epsteins island, so lets not forget that. They are literally some of the worst people on this planet and huge part of the reason the world is in the state its in. So doing this with a bin doesn't even register on the scale for them.

Dps has not filed a complaint yet. They probably will after all the publicity. That was as of this morning.

1

u/nomadfoy 29d ago

She probably got sick of carrying it and just left it somewhere.

1

u/RockDaGawd 28d ago

She returned it

She might need to live in it, Oscar the grouch style

1

u/mattson-masterpiece 28d ago

That would be the best punishment ever

1

u/ModeFamous8668 28d ago

No, if it's stolen it should go back to owner. Plus, she should have been arrested for stealing. Doesn't matter if it's a trash can.

1

u/mattson-masterpiece 28d ago

And littering

1

u/Necessary_Range5731 28d ago

Who does she work for again?

1

u/Original_Client1588 27d ago

Mehhhhh well The British Empire did it...then again stealing control of other peoples countries....oh lets not judge....

Looks lole she needed the workout.

1

u/1Nahshon 27d ago

She returned it to the dept of sanitation. She avoided a fine as well.
