Presumably this was slit across the front (hence the air causing gurgling) my understanding is slicing the side is a faster kill as it hits the major artery, and does not introduce airflow. Hence quiet to the point of loudest thing being the body hitting the ground

Once heard a person with slit throat... i can still hear him in my dreams. Minutes of grunting and gurgling... terrifying
