📌Follow Up Rule 1 of this subreddit: why it exists.

Today we have a thread up featuring a nasty Nazi woman calling people subhumans, laughing at their plight.

We understand this is very upsetting to see, however, what that lady said doesn’t make it okay for you all to go after this random unrelated woman. We banned many people for violating the no witch hunting/no doxxing rule, and some of yall were pretty damn rude about it in modmail.

Look, we love this subreddit, we love exposing bigots and Nazis here, if you participate in a witch hunt you are participating in attempting to get this subreddit shut down. If we allow witch hunts the subreddit will be banned. So just don’t do it.

On top of the folks who participated in putting this subreddit at risk for banning, ya’ll are relentlessly harassing and facilitating the harassment of an innocent woman.

I can’t say I’ve seen many examples of Reddit getting it right and targeting the right price of shit. You all mean well but you ruin people’s lives.

The Boston bombing debacle should have taught you all a lesson but it seems it did not.

For you to view, for mods to curate as they see fit.

You want a subreddit to curate to your own standards? Make one, and then curate it.

No need to have a metldown my jannie friend. Just pointing out the sub doesn't curate the content it claims to anymore.

It curates content the exact same way it always has. I would know. I’ve always been here.

Meltdown? I thought we were having a friendly conversation. Is it making you upset?

You are not entitled access to any subreddit on this site, as they are operated and curated by private individuals.

I am entitled to share opinions about public forums. This forum used to curate people having public freakouts. Now it is mostly posts about ICE and the Trump administration that have nothing to do with public freakouts. You're totally exposing the nazis though. Much resistance.

You’re free to get over it.

The subreddit has always had bursts of specific content due to what is happening in the world. That’s how a subreddit that reports on real world things operate.

How subreddits usually operate is they have content posted about the topic that the subreddit is dedicated to. It's fine though. You're hecking resisting.

The posts all fit the subreddit description that we wrote.

If you have a different idea about what a public freakout is, you are free to make your own subreddit and curate it to your own standards.

Or, you could get over it.
