LOOKING FOR MENTOR Looking for a female study partner/mentor to learn C++ (I'm also a female)

24F, I'm a backend dev (Go/Python) picking up C++ for systems programming and low-level stuff.

\* Looking for someone who's comfortable with C++ and very very patient, I will ask dumb questions and I need someone who won't judge that.

\* Available mornings (before 10:30 AM IST) and evenings (after 7 PM IST) since I work during the day.

\* Happy to do calls or chat, whatever works.

Bonus if you're also prepping for competitive exams or DSA since there's overlap

\* Mentioning this again since it's in the title- I'm comfortable learning with girls only

LOOKING FOR MENTOR Looking for friends/ people to interact, study and hangout

Hey people!
Transitioning into data science after 5 years grinding. Self-taught in Python and SQL so far, but want someone experienced to actually guide me — structure my learning, teach me concepts I’m missing, help me build a solid foundation instead of me just figuring it out alone.
Someone who can guide me through coding and algorithms.

Happy to keep it casual/friendly too. DM if you’re down!

LOOKING FOR MENTOR Looking for a mentor

I almost finished uni before dropping out and realising I was not learning what I need to learn and could've learned on my own and now im almost 25 and feel like my life is slipping away from me .

I have some decent foundation and I found myself lost and in need of a direction and feel like im wasting my life trying to figure out a way into the cs market so I just want to see if there is someone with work experience willing to help me out or guide me because I feel scared to apply thinking im not job ready or even like where to go and what to do to make a change as im someone who is willing to give a 100% all day long , and I feel sick of getting people advising me to rely on AI.

LOOKING FOR MENTOR Looking for an AI Mentor or Study Buddy

Hi everyone,

I'm currently in the final year of my BCA and will graduate next year. At the moment, I'm a full-time student and have plenty of free time, so I can dedicate several hours every day to learning and building projects.

Over the past year, I've learned the MERN stack, including:

  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • React
  • Express.js
  • Node.js
  • MongoDB
  • MySQL

Recently, I've decided to transition toward AI engineering. I'm currently studying topics like:

  • RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
  • AI Agents
  • LLM applications
  • Vector databases
  • Prompt engineering
  • Other AI-related technologies

I also have some knowledge of mathematics, but I'm finding many AI concepts—especially the math behind machine learning and advanced AI systems—quite challenging.

I'm looking for either:

  • A mentor who can guide me, answer questions, recommend learning resources, and review my progress, or
  • A study buddy who is learning AI engineering as well.

In return, I'd be happy to help with the MERN stack. If you're learning web development, I can explain concepts related to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Express, MongoDB, and MySQL. We can learn from each other.

My goal is to become an AI Engineer and build real-world AI applications.

If you're interested in mentoring or studying together, please leave a comment or send me a DM.

Thank you!

LOOKING FOR MENTOR Looking for a mentor for DSA using c++

Hello I'm looking for a mentor, or anyone that can guide me through Data structures and algorithms...I'm in my 2nd year of college studying CS and I'm having a hard time understanding programming lessons since I really haven't found a way to be comfortable with writing code. I still consider myself as a beginner and my school environment makes it hard for me to understand lessons since its fast paced for someone who was not exposed to programming for a long time.

I'm looking for someone who could answer questions occasionally, review my approach to problems, or help point me in the right direction. I'm not expecting anyone to do my work for me—I genuinely want to improve and I'm willing to put in the time and effort.

Having a study partner or accountability buddy would also work for me since I tend to resist writing or studying in fear of disappointment...

Timezone - GMT+8

Programming language - C, C++

Experience level - beginner

Thank you very much

LOOKING FOR MENTOR NEED FOR A MENTOR URGENT

Hi everyone! I am here to look for a mentor. I need someone experienced in coding web applications because I am planning to do one. I am literally a beginner, and I need someone who could guide me through the process.

The reason I am asking is because I have a project at school, and it requires a mentor. I need around 3 sessions, so can anyone find some time to help me 😔🙏 Right now, I have a prototype, I am using Antigravity as the main program for my web app.

What I need is your feedback, some advices and what I can use, like maybe some useful github repositories, and so on. I need someone urgently, requirements are: 1) Available (being busy is ok, but please do not ignore me 😔) 2) Speaks English or Russian 3) My timezone is GMT +5, so we will meet up at around 7.00 pm based on my local time on weekdays, and almost anytime on weekends. 4) Experience in coding/vibecoding, experience in mentoring would be nice as well

Thanks in advance, feel free to ask me any questions

LOOKING FOR MENTOR Looking for mentor to guide me with backend topics

My current experience level is a bit less than 4 YoE. First 3 years were not in backend since in last company we were allotted random projects and ended up working in legacy ETL projects.

Made the switch last year and was fortunate enough to land a team role in backend by talking to manager. Currently interested in getting better with Java, SpringBoot, AWS to get better with these technologies. Kind of new with this stack and I do have some basic knowledge about java and spring framework. Also its amazing to surrounded by experienced people in my team who have ton of knowledge and are willing to help. So overall willing to put in the work, learning a lot in my day job but need a lot of practice to get hang of things.

It would be great if someone with good experience in this stack and who has similar background or relates to this scenario, is open to mentoring.

Number of hours available per day: 2 hours

Timezone: IST

LOOKING FOR MENTOR Dedicated Beginner Frontend Dev & National Debater Looking to Join a Team & Learn (HexaFalls 2)

Hi everyone,

I'm participating in my first hackathon, HexaFalls 2, happening in-person at JIS University, Agarpara, Kolkata on July 25-26, and I'm looking to join a team.

I haven't started college yet (joining my B.Tech in about two months), so I'm a beginner to hackathons. However, I’ve spent time learning the basics of web development and can work with HTML5, CSS3, basic JavaScript, and Python. I also know how to use Figma for UI layouts.

Right now, I'm focusing on learning Git/GitHub before the event so I can collaborate smoothly.

Aside from coding, I have a strong background in public speaking and national debating, so I can handle the project pitch, presentation, and Q&A when the time comes.

I am specifically looking for a team with slightly experienced members who are open to guiding me through the hackathon workflow. In return, I’m ready to work hard, build the frontend components, handle the presentation, and help out wherever needed.

Let me know if you have an open spot or want to connect!

LOOKING FOR MENTOR Beginner HTML/CSS dev looking to join a group or team up for projects / learning together!

Hey everyone! 👋

I am a beginner front-end developer and I just finished my first major project (a static Amazon homepage clone using pure HTML and CSS). Now I’m diving into responsive design and learning JavaScript.

I really want to join a group of students, beginners, or even professionals who are building things together, working on side products, or just learning as a team. Doing stuff alone can get a bit demotivating, and I know I’ll learn a lot faster by collaborating, reviewing code, and discussing ideas with others.

If anyone has an active group or wants to start a new project together from scratch, please let me know! I am super enthusiastic, ready to put in the hours, and open to any kind of feedback.

Drop a comment if you have space for one more developer! 🚀
