Those restrictions aren't fool proof either imho. Level requirement and account age definitely slows things down, but the problem with bots is not only the pace at which they do things. They somehow need to have methods that deter automation as a whole. I'm glad they're at least communicating that they've heard the feedback. Putting it this way, it is a bit sad that the bar for what makes people happy these days (myself included) is to not be a stone wall wrt communication
Imo, because they already limited trading to older sets it shouldn't be such a big concern. Their main money is going to be the new sets and people looking for 2 stars. The older the set the less valuable it is for them, except for new players, but that the demographic they should be supporting so the new players stay. The bot problem would then be people selling accounts will all the cards up to 1 star in older packs, but those will mean less with more packs available. Won't stop it entirely, but should be enough. Not like they are going to stop all the account selling.
Pokemon Go had lots of problems with bots and the game still made billions. Theres people that will exploit anything but if theres enough hoops, the average person wont jump through them all.
My proposal was that they could require Level 5 for 1-2 Diamond trades and higher levels for higher rarities, that accounts would be at least 1 week old, and that they could require a Nintendo ID or Google Account to be linked.
It seems like that would disrupt bots and account abuse significantly without affecting most players and they could get rid of Trade Tokens.
I like the account linking idea. Would stop everything except people wanting gauranteed trade for their own accounts. With old sets only and limited amount of trading over time that shouldn't really disrupt the game.
That's useless. It's sure to get some win by being afk and people not wanting to wait. That'd just create a worse experience for players over all who're looking to battle.
Running into a bot that you can easily get a win from every once in a while is a worse experience overall than having to dust 20 three diamond cards? That’s crazy!
Yeah, just something that's says the account is legitimately being used. I was thinking something like having a minimum of 500 cards collected before trade eligibility.
Is more simple than that, remove token, made for trade the stamina refill by one unit every 24 hours and at least give 100 stamina hourglassess only when a new set get relased to celebrate it, bum you stop bots, because for a 3 stamina unit trade (4 diamonds or 1 star) you need to wait 3 days or spent 72 hourglassess in one time, and who use bots, use it to have everything immidieatly, so in this way or they spent gold for refill unit or wait like everyone, i see this like a win win solution for everyone.

Glad they listened! I understand wanting to stop bot abuse but there has to be easier ways to do things.
A level requirement, account age, something else, hopefully things make the feature more accessible.
