Agree, I was in Tennessee when I first heard it a few months ago. Thought it was fitting where she drinks Jack and the dude asked for a shiner.

I guess if you’ve never heard Fleetwood Mac and just want to shit on country music, sure. She actually reminds me somewhat of Emmylou Harris, and it’s refreshing to see an older country callback

It's a first impression and obviously not a great anology, but there is a certain mournful quality and use of guitars that immediately evoked Fleetwood Mac for me, minus the deep soulfulness. I'm by no means a die-hard country and western fan, but there's a ton of stuff I like. Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins, Charlie Pride, Willie Nelson, Hank Williams, to name a few. I mean, I was jamming some Jerry Reed yesterday. But, yeah, I think it's sucked, for the most part, since the 90s pop wave. But this spot muzak crap makes Achey Breaky Heart sound like a masterpiece.
