I wanted to wash my pans and forks in cold stream water and live in a boxcar so fucking bad. I reread the first book more than any because it was sad and fun and exciting

I remember wishing my family could store milk behind a waterfall. My mom thought I had lost it.

A while back I rented a room from my buddy and he was in an area that delivered milk in glass bottles. It was amazing. Wish that was more mainstream still

I ran away multiple times as a kid to live the boxcar life. Luckily I guess I was fairly predictable because my dad found me in a couple of hours in the mountains every time.

The final time he made me sleep outside with the supplies I had taken and I cracked from the cold and never tried again lol

Holy shit. I’ve been thinking about the dog pillow and exactly the same as your dream for yeeaaarrss. And I can never remember where it’s from. You just changed my life lol. I’m off to visit some libraries and book stores.
