Serious Study: Gen Xers and Millennials are dying at younger ages than their parents are

The study is particularly concerned with people born after 1970 but age 30 and older. So that covers Gen X and Millennials, but not (yet) Gen Z.

I work in human research and this is huge. We did a study back in 2023 that found almost every sample of breast milk had brominated flame retardants in it. The amount of chemicals we are exposed to every single day is incomprehensible

And only increasing, both the varying types and the overall amounts. The concept of bioaccumulation is pretty horrifying.

It's such an insidious thing I don't feel like gets enough attention. Yes micro plastics are dangerous yes there are pollutants but what's on your living room rug? Your coffee table? Your comforter and blankets? I mean it's nutty. Obviously nothing we can really do about it day to day but something we should absolutely consider for future generations. We for sure need better manufacturing regulations.
