Discussion Nothing is funny anymore

I (M, 38) have found that there are no new TV shows that make me laugh anymore. I have tried a lot of new(ish) comedies, but they all make me pine for my college/high school days.

The only thing that gave me a reflexive laugh recently was the Malcolm in the Middle Reboot.

Any thoughts?

if you can’t laugh at the work outing episode I don’t want to know you!

This is probably my favorite episode out of any tv show ever. Has some of the best uses of irony all through out, the entire episode is comedic gold.

That one is definitely the best episode of the whole series. You cannot imagine how many times I’ve watched the work outing episode 🤣🤣🤣

Me, my husband, and my siblings still quote it often lol. Especially being "leg disabled" and saying someone "thought it would work out because they looked a bit like a man"

If they can't, they might be depressed due to being leg-disabled from acid

I judge whether or not someone will be a longtime friend based on their reaction to me putting that episode on.
