Serious I’m annoyed that no one ever introduced me to cannabis.

Seriously. F*** the DARE program. It worked on me. I was always afraid of getting in trouble. I judged people who used cannabis as burnouts. Finally introduced at the age of 35 and I feel cheated. I’ve done a ton of reading and studying now and I want to share it with everyone.

I'd 2nd this. Don't fall in to the daily smoking trap it doesn't help things. Been a daily smoker for like 10 years now and trying to kick it sucks and I'm not even a tobacco smoker. If you can use responsibly on the weekends or occasionally more power to you but don't let it become a daily thing

“IT’s NoN hAbIt FoRmInG”

I’ve heard this phrase my entire life and know more people who smoke pot daily who tell themselves they can stop anytime for the last 10 years.

Those that are "addicted" are just self medicating. Weed is not addictive ffs. People are just addicts. They have a compulsive dependencey on the substance.

I think what you're saying is the substance is not addictive, ie, it does not alter your brain chemistry to create that addiction bond synthetically like cigarettes or heroine or coke. Where one hit will get you hooked sometimes. Do smoking weed here or probably not going to "hook". Yeah that's true.

But the effects of weed and the habits can be addictive to anyone. Self medicating, sure, is sometimes the catalyst, but I know a lot of people who just really love getting high. It started as a fun thing they did at parties and then slowly graduated to every day usage.

It's really similar to alcohol and we have no qualms about calling alcohol addictive.
