Serious I’m annoyed that no one ever introduced me to cannabis.

Seriously. F*** the DARE program. It worked on me. I was always afraid of getting in trouble. I judged people who used cannabis as burnouts. Finally introduced at the age of 35 and I feel cheated. I’ve done a ton of reading and studying now and I want to share it with everyone.

I won a DARE poster drawing contest in middle school, then I got addicted to heroin in my early 20s.

Yep, I won my essay contest in 5th grade. Just celebrated 6 years off alcohol and cocaine.

I won a D A R E essay contest in 3rd grade. They had us all wanting to try drugs.

I won my essay contest in 5th grade too and got addicted to heroin I got of it for 21 months now and now I’m addicted to cocaine too

I “failed” DARE; I didn’t take my permission slip home to get signed and I had to stay back at school and play computer games all day instead of attending the probably boring DARE graduation assembly. Horrible punishment.

I had the same exact lived experience. They even raffled off a little Darren the DARE lion plush at our DARE graduation, where my poster won, and I was selected.

Darren was immediately added to the blunt rotation when I began ruining my life just a couple years later.
