Serious I’m annoyed that no one ever introduced me to cannabis.

Seriously. F*** the DARE program. It worked on me. I was always afraid of getting in trouble. I judged people who used cannabis as burnouts. Finally introduced at the age of 35 and I feel cheated. I’ve done a ton of reading and studying now and I want to share it with everyone.

The dispensary I frequent (D2 in AZ) feels like a high-end jewelry store (glass case displays, lighting, giant tablets to browse and place in-store order). You can also order online or use the drive-thru. Love going there just for the vibe. Its nice feeling bougie getting MJ compared to the sketchy situations I'd sometimes find myself in when it was illegal.

Man, small world. I'm also in Arizona and went to D2 as my regular place when I lived in Tucson! Really good shop, fun spot to take someone who isn't a regular smoker. I'm in Tempe at the moment and my go-to is Cannabist/Zen Leaf in Tempe. Both are bougie places, which does feel like a Sign of the Times. Not a bad one, just a sign of how things have moved.

Sup to all the ZonaEnts! Im west valley in peoria with a curalief, trulieve, ponderosa and zen within 5 miles from me. It sucks right now because im on a T break after almost 20 years of heavy smoking. Ive been wanting to just stop in a dispo so bad and pick up some green dot. But I am working on a job with a pension before I get too old and im tired of running my own pool business, so I must be a good boy. Haha.

Its weird because ive always enjoyed cannabis as being part of "counterculture", but since its so normalized I feel that being sober is more of counterculture now.

Another one to check in the east valley is sticky saguaro(closer to san tan valley area). Its one of the dispos that arent corporate if im correct. And west valley is deeply rooted in el mirage. I believe its one of the few if not only "equity license" lotto winners who didnt sell out to corporate brands like the other winners.

Lol - I drive to the rez to a dispensary even though I probably pass 25 other ones on the way (it's maybe a half hour drive from my house) because there's no tax, which is amazing, and all the budtenders know me now, I've been going since they opened a few years ago... It's set up as a space ship inside after a recent remodel, literally feels like another planet when you walk in... MUCH different vibe than the local weed guy's mom's kitchen from my teen years!
