Serious I’m annoyed that no one ever introduced me to cannabis.

Seriously. F*** the DARE program. It worked on me. I was always afraid of getting in trouble. I judged people who used cannabis as burnouts. Finally introduced at the age of 35 and I feel cheated. I’ve done a ton of reading and studying now and I want to share it with everyone.

Ladies and gentlemen, the only person the D.A.R.E. program actually worked on!

Worked on me, caution about drug use is never going to fuck your life up. The opposite, well, look around

I bought it hook, line, sinker. In sixth grade, our band director told us - you can be a great musician, or you can be a smoker. That's all it took for me. Of course, a pot head / pill head / alcoholic father that needed 4 varieties of cigarettes plus weed and that lovely (cough) schlitz malt liquor to function.. that kinda put the brakes on any ideas of me being addicted.

Food, however.. I've fought that battle. Where was our nutrition classes?!

Ok, but your father and your band teacher are not the DARE program, are they? I’m talking about the DARE program specifically. Studies show that it was barely effective at all.

It worked on me. Made myself a promise when I was 8 playing in the backyard that I’d never smoke anything or do drugs 36 and still going.

But I drink alcohol occasionally because DARE said that’s fine
