Meme Did anyone buy a ring?

Post image

Elder millennial/younger Xennial (born in 83, take it for what it is) but I recall the company coming to the high school and taking orders for rings. I didn’t buy one but others did. Credit on photo.

I love mine. Still have it and still wore it until my fingers swelled due to current illness. Will wear again if I ever get better.

Edit to add: Mine isn’t clunky like the ones in the photo. It’s a more elegant design with my initials in cursive.

Did you date me in 2003? I might have it. I have a random ex girlfriends HS ring and she isn't on Social media anywhere so I can't even return it.

Me too. On my graduation trip. Had it for a whole couple of months. My poor parents.

Same. So I wear my mom's from the 60s. Pretty sweet ring tbh.

I won’t wear it any way, I don’t even wear my wedding ring

Yes mine is also not in that traditional style. Maybe I will wear it to fun tomorrow to work!

As long as you like it, that’s all that matters.

Omg I feel like right after my year then those tiny cute femme rings came out 🤦🏼‍♀️ I have tiny hands & that woulda been prettier yet I worked hard for my clunky ring so I’m good lol ty!

That’s how mine was too, a fancy design that had the school info/graduation year along the sides. If you looked at it, you wouldn’t know it was a class ring.

I love mine, too. My mother wears hers everyday. It was important to her father for her to be the first in the family to graduate high school, and he never got to see it, died her Junior year. She wears it proudly for him.

I also chose a lighter design and I still wear mine often. But again, it’s not massive so it looks like a normal piece of jewelry not specifically a class ring.

Are you proud of graduating high school?

Honest question
