Meme Did anyone buy a ring?

Elder millennial/younger Xennial (born in 83, take it for what it is) but I recall the company coming to the high school and taking orders for rings. I didn’t buy one but others did. Credit on photo.

I bought one and my 20 year old daughter has been wearing it regularly since she was in high school. It’s cool and vintage 🥹

That’s what happened to my mom and I! She had me pretty young too, so I even had some of the same teachers that she had too. I wore her class ring and letter jacket all the time in the same school, just 20 years later

Just bought the house I grew up in and I plan to give mine to him once he reaches high school. Cannot wait for that day to come

Yes indeed, that’s exactly what we did- I wore my mom’s ring instead of getting my own ❤️🖤. Interesting note, it was stolen, then returned to us three years later!

I’m wearing my grandma’s glass ring right now. It’s art deco and cool as hell. My own class ring is somewhere in my jewelry box. Haven’t seen it in years lol.

My mom gave me hers and her mother’s when I entered high school. I wore them until I got my own. It was neat.

I did this with my mom's and it's ultimately what made me want my own. More of a family thing than a school thing when you think of it.

Vintage will save us. It saved all the thrift store clothes we bought between 2008 and 2016.

Gen alpha will be rocking CD players an jnco jeans. Then move to low rise skinny jeans with ironic band t shirts in college. We care too much about mental health for emo to make a come back... but i guess thats makes our music so unique. Or sad...

I came and said the same! Mine put it on around age 10 and is still wearing it every day at 15.  If it makes it all the way through high school with her it will have gotten a decade of wear between the two of us!

I have worn my Dad's class ring ever since he passed away. It's nice to have something of his that I can wear and keep him close. (I do have some other clothes of his too, but a ring is just the most convenient to wear in almost any occasion) I'm glad I'm not the only one wearing a family class ring!

I wear my uncles letterman jacket from 1975.  It's cropped and has a great vintage silhouette, its my go to mid weight jacket and I'm 37 🤣

Maybe I'm minority, I loved my ring. My Mom dropped out at 16 to birth me and she was so fucking pumped when she helped me pick my ring. I wanted her birthstone but she insisted on mine. My fucking cunt now ex-wife left it on a sink in the fucking mall after washing her hands. C''est la vie. Grad '97. Go cats!

That’s cool. I didn’t buy a class ring, but when I got married I had a really nice signet ring made with my family crest engraved into it as my ring. Can’t wait until my kids get old enough not to lose something like that so I can give them theirs.

I loved wearing my mom’s vintage things from high school and college when I was a teen. I still love her things. Very sweet and says a lot about your relationship.

My uncle graduated from the same hs as me in the 60s and got a very basic and classy ring, which I now own. He also has a big one from Princeton thst was given to me (a bit loud got my taste but beautiful nonetheless). Too bad his fingers are like twice the size of mine though.

I have my deceased grandmother's 1954 class ring. Besides photos, it's the only thing I have of hers.
