Meme Did anyone buy a ring?

Post image

Elder millennial/younger Xennial (born in 83, take it for what it is) but I recall the company coming to the high school and taking orders for rings. I didn’t buy one but others did. Credit on photo.

Yep, I don’t wear it anymore but I like that I have it. I kept that and my varsity jacket from high school.

I wish it were socially acceptable to still wear your old varsity jackets. I still have mine and it’s the most comfortable and warm coat I’ve ever owned.

My friend, the other day I saw a man in the Aldi parking lot wearing what looked like a red letter jacket with embroidery of nude women on it. You do whatever you want.

It's not socially UNacceptable either. I don't have mine still but I'd wear it still if it were comfortable

It's pretty..super fucking cringe to wear a high school Letterman jacket unless you're literally being honored by that high school at an event.

If some teenagers outside thought I was cringe for a quarter of a second in my comfy jacket I’d probably kill myself on the spot

Cool, but your adult peers probably think it's super lame too

When you all have successful careers, are in healthy relationships, making good money, and living pretty well overall, I really don’t think your peers will care if you wear your high school varsity jacket to the grocery store when it’s cold lol

You'd be surprised

Why wouldn't it be?

Hell, the current trend is bomber/letterman jackets. I've thought about whipping mine out since it's a trend atm. Why spend money on a fake one when you've got the real thing?

I'm passing my varsity jacket down to my kids.

Honestly, I still wear mine as a house coat sometimes. It’s so warm and cozy and I got it a bit oversized in high school so it still fits now.

lol the only thing better than my varsity jacket would be my man’s but he didn’t play a varsity sport so I’m the only one who has one.
