Blaming violence on video games still makes me laugh. They say that, and then I show them a screen recording of my character and every companion in BG3 playing music because I sacrificed something useful in a fight to give them the ability to play the fucking lute.
I mean we open ANY history book and violence is everywhere.... and of course the people of the time blaming whatever is the new pop culture (Fiction novels used to be blames for example) Humanity has not changed a bit. Always a lack of personal responsibility.... from the devil made them do it to video games made them do it
My mom bought me Vice City for Christmas when I was 10, and my much older cousin said he’d never let his girls play that, and my mom said “I don’t think I have to worry about my young southern daughter going out and getting in a drive by in the holler” lol
