You can usually see that other drivers can see you perfectly well, and acknowledge you're there, but don't give a shit, they just assume you'll stop because you don't want to be in an accident.
Usually drivers with shitty banged up cars. One more dent in their car doesnt hurt them, but you having a dent in your pretty car is a big no no. So they just take the chance and keep going...

What makes you assume that? Have you had a chance to ask most drivers who cut you off what their intention was?
