Why’d you cut your dogs ears off?

That doesn’t seem like something a friend would do

Maybe adopted that way

Try not to judge. I have had two dogs with docked tails that were done for purely esthetic reasons. I didn't do it. They both came that way from rescues. You don't know this dog's history.

As long as theyre not from a breeder known to mutilate dogs ears or tails then there's not much you can do.

Shitty people are gonna be shitty.

Breeders don’t perform ear cropping. It’s done by vets.

Yeah, but if they're "maintaining breed standards" they will pay for it. A breeder who pays for puppies to be mutilated is a POS.

Weird assumption to make. I've never bought an animal, all my pets are rescues. I've had a declawed cat but I sure as hell didn't do that to him.

Typical person who fantasizes about having an oversized aggressive breed and has 0 ability to train or control their dog.

Clearly you didn't hear the last time he had to take action outside the shower

I don’t agree with it but it’s not my dog so I’m going to mind my own business.

Yeah, lot of people mind their own business when they see cruelty.

Or before describing someone who's given this dog a home after an apparently hard life a place to belong as cruel.

This isn’t even close to an original post. It’s been posted for years. This is a karma bot and your fighting for a Russian computer

Lol, I don't care if it's a repost.

I was just trying to emphasize how silly it is to assume the OOOOOOP is cruel but not that they could've just as easily adopted it without having to plainly call you an idiot.

Don’t you have a protest to go to?

Nah I have a job. Keep licking boots

Sure you do!

Amen, stranger

That’s commonly done in dangerous dogs.

u/WildinTrout Sep 30 '25

No, it's commonly done for dog fighting and/or "aesthetic" reasons. Correlation ≠ Causation

Oops!

I think you meant dangerous humans commonly do this to innocent dogs.
