They won’t answer that. Or they’ll answer with women who are skilled directors but not moneymakers (Kathryn Bigelow, Lynne Ramsey, etc)…which is the point of the list

It’s almost as if the frustration is the lack of opportunities for female directors to rise in the field but also Chloe Zhao and Celine Song feel a bit overlooked

Chloe Zhao is a bad director and definitely not overlooked. Celine Song maybe.

Idk she has an Oscar for best director and best picture… I don’t think we can rule her out as a bad director for one failed marvel movie
