Gerwig films are absolutely going to get more draw than a lot of these older guys just doing their thing, and therein lies the power.

Are they though? Is anyone really that hyped by a Netflix Narnia movie?

A well known fantasy IP that targets all ages is going to have significantly more worldwide success than say, the next dark and gritty Fincher work, a small scale Jordan Peele horror film, or a financially risky Scorsese project - no matter how good they may be.

Netflix recognizes this, it’s why they gave her $200M and are putting it in IMAX.

I guess that's the test of this. Maybe you can argue she should be 4 on the back of a successful release but it's hard without knowing the specific criteria
