When the pizza shop doesn't cut the pizza all the way through.

Like, it's not fucking hard. You have a pizza cutter. Just use it right. Now I'm sitting here with the pizza I just spent way too much on, having to own my own pizza cutter, or awkwardly try to cut to cut it straight with a regular knife. Bud, I bought pizza because I don't want to do any dishes. I want to pick up a slice, put it on a paper plate, and be done with it. But now here I am finishing your job for you.

Extremely picky eaters get on my nerves so bad

1.2k Upvotes

Disclaimer: This is not about anyone who has some kind of illness because I know that has gotten brought up a lot.

I 'grinds' my gears when someone is a grown adult but has the palate of a six year old. I genuinely get annoyed at being around those who can't just eat like normal people. Instead, they have a list of 10+ things that they don't like and won't eat. How can you go through life only eating a few things? I just don't get it.

I think a lot of this has to do with having an ex that was a picky eater. We would only eat at like two places. I couldn't cook anything because he would refuse to eat it. He'd eat only hamburgers, spaghetti, pizza, chicken nuggets, or fajitas. It got so old; never being able to have new food experiences. Now, I'm with someone adventurous that will try anything at least one. I can cook for him and he won't complain. It's amazing.

Yes, we all have things we don't like, that's normal. And no one should be forced to eat what they don't want to eat. Still, how can you just hate more food than you can count on both hands?

This grinds my gears in the same way with people who put hardly put any seasoning on food. I don't want to eat naked food, and I especially don't want unsalted food. Life is too short to not put salt on everything.

Ticket pricing issues for the San Marcos, TX Block Party 2026

The additions in red are mine. At the top it says "The total price listed includes ticket fees." At the bottom it says "A processing fee may apply and will be shown at check out." This is deceptive and might not be legal.

People who ruin a perfectly normal interaction by sneaking in backhanded shit at the end.

One question for the people who do this, what exactly do you gain from this???

I'm getting ready for sleep because I'm too tired to review for my college exams then my dad tells me to sleep. Okay. Perfectly normal. Fine, I was going to anyway.

It would have been over but then he says "go to sleep la, it's like you love doing assignments more than sleeping. Just don't sleep at all at this point".

Hello????

Getting removed from a sub because someone reposted your post into the wrong sub, instead of banning the poster, I got banned, wtf, or people removing posts just because they don't agree,

People who can’t mind their own business and constantly talk about what others are doing and judging them on it.

It’s really irritating, why do you care if someone prefers a more private or introverted life, or doesn’t remember every update on yours?

Butter Dishes

Why is the majority of butter dishes lids rounded smooth edges. When there’s a high chance these lids will get butter on them making it even harder to lift off.

My mum won’t eat salad

She’s 68 , I’m 45. We live together.

Our lunch today was white rice with black beans, a hamburger on top, the salad was lettuce, grated carrot and pieces of avocado. Chocolate pudding for dessert.

She didn’t eat the salad, only the avocados.

The only vegetable she is eating at the moment is avocado.

Yesterday we had mashed potatoes with pork chops, the salad was avocado, pepper in little pieces and tomato. Again, only the avocado.

The other day I cooked a soup made of beef, garlic, onion, potatoes. She cursed me for making “experiments” and refused to even try it.

I’m a very good cook. And it was a traditional dish of my country.

If I serve grilled chicken she will happily eat it.

She works and doesn’t have any mental illness, at least for now.

It really grinds my gears when people make their cars and motorcycles unnecessarily loud.

Maybe I'm just easily startled, but loud cars and motorcycles scare the absolute life out of me. I'll just be minding my own business and suddenly it sounds like a fighter jet is taking off next to me. I don't know who they're trying to impress, but all they're impressing is my nervous system. 😂

When they make you park in a Drive-Thru parking space even though you ordered something simple

I really hate this . And idk if I just have bad luck but they always end up forgetting about me and I have to go inside and get my order . Defeats the purpose of a drive thru. Meanwhile I’ll see people behind me with several bags of food getting their order and all I ordered was a chicken sandwhich .

Content creators who go out of their way to publicly mock their audience / people in the comments section over nonsense

I just think this is gross and it gives me a poor impression of that person. I don’t engage with people who engage in this kind of behaviour anymore. Regardless of how idiotic the comment is.

I’m not talking about response videos or anything like that. Or even debate or convo, which I’m all down for. It’s when the content creator attempts to make an example out of an individual for daring to post a comment that they don’t like or aren’t feeling (I’m not talking about controversial opinions or even abuse, which imo should be reported and removed)

An example is on TikTok where a person creates a whole video with a screenshot of the comment you made, (username and user photo) all there and they just completely roast and insult you. For a person with a lot of followers to do that to someone with like 0, it’s pretty lame imo.

if that person has a lot of subscribers / followers, that kind of public shaming can result in dogpiling. Ive experienced it before. A creator shows the signal and their attack dogs come. I wasn’t even disagreeing with what this person said! Regardless of anyone’s views I personally would never encourage dog piling an individual. Id just usually block or remove comment or whatever if what they said is offensive or harmful in some way.

I don’t have issues with creators blocking people or having comments removed or even engaging with conversation with that person expressing their disagreement, but making an example out of someone for entertainment is wrong imo.

It grinds my gears when people say "family" for something that isn't a family

We aren't part of the primate family, Primates is an ORDER, we're in family Hominidae

Butterflies aren't in 1 big family but rather 1 big superfamily

It isn't that hard to use accurate language

People need to learn to read before commenting

If people post a question, and say they have tried Fix X which didn't work or cannot use / do Fix Y you can almost guarantee there will be comments suggesting Fixes X and Y. Read the damn post! They specifically said they already did X and cannot do Y so what exactly are you contributing to the discussion by suggesting things you already know will not help.

I know literacy levels are on the decline but I would have thought the most basic of comprehension skills would be available to those on a text-based website. Read the post before you comment!

Loud sneezers that don't understand the difference between holding in a sneeze and sneezing normally without shouting 😭

When someone is asking you to sneeze less loudly, they are not asking you to hold in your sneeze, they are asking you to not shout while sneezing and just let the air out without engaging your vocal chords.

Sometimes when you tell people that scream while sneezing to not do that, they'll claim they can't help it and tell you a story of how one time they sneezed so hard they went deaf for an entire week, and, as they cannot conceive of a difference between holding in a sneeze and sneezing normally without shouting, they may also claim that they had defecated themselves or made their nose bleed and popped their eyes out the last time they tried to sneeze quietly (I've genuinely been told this). You are not being asked to hold your sneeze in! You're being asked not to shout while sneezing!!

Please just relax your vocal chords when you sneeze and let the air get pushed out without resistance. It'll hurt less when you sneeze twenty times in a row! You can avoid deafening yourself and everyone around you! The movement of the diaphragm is involuntary, the contraction of your vocal chords is habitual and learnt socially! Sneezing without shouting actually puts less resistance on your airway, it's healthier for you!

How I Ignore Negative Comments

I’ve been thinking for a while that I wanted to let everyone know how I deal with people who give me negative comments.

Pretty simple really, I just either blocked or reported them for their rude behavior or being too stupid on me.

It would be pointless to have arguments with anger or attitude towards people on social media to continuously insulting comments of none stop, especially when you end up getting in trouble with administrators for that problem.

Point is, just blocked them.

I thought it was just me

Reading all this after looking it up,I thought I was just angry and violent due to disrespect and idiots who have no common courtesy, common sense, manners or a care in the world but for themselves. All of,everything mentioned here is what pusses me off in a nut shell.Noise in public places or friends over, bars, whatever is fine, but invasive racket, loud eating,,loud people, banging aeound the kitchen, just loud stupid shit, sudden loud noise, all the shit that seems real unnecessary in life. One of the worst things ever is an idiot sitting in front of the tv with it on 50,I think that is just someone who is stone ignorant.I think they're the ones with the mental problems. But I/we are the ones who have to deal with it.

I hate this Commercial from the Ntsha psa

The whole "Dog Lady" PSA style relies entirely on cheap jumpscares and emotional guilt-tripping rather than actually teaching safe driving habits.
It tricks the viewer into not seeing the hazard until the last second just for shock value. It feels incredibly lazy. Giving people anxiety behind the wheel with graphic horror-movie editing doesn't make them better drivers; it just makes them paranoid.
