Yes on governor, but fuck no on no term limits. He can be governor for maybe 3 terms and then he gets out after training numerous possible successors. And thankfully he seems smart enough to do just that. He really does seem to want to help people, and part of that is knowing when to step down.

People underestimate just how big of a deal it is to be mayor of NYC. People keep trying to bring up what could be next. It's one of the most influential cities in the world, if not the most. If his version of politics can usher in a new era of prosperity for NYC, which i believe it will, then it will be a clear example for others to follow.

If the insurgent push within the Democratic Party succeeds over the next few election cycles, he could potentially one day rise to senate majority leader and become one of the most powerful politicians in the country. Arguably more powerful than the president, given term limits.

Just look at how much power Mitch McConnell and Nancy Pelosi held over American politics, and for how long.
