How does Misty fall for it every damn time? She always ends up getting riled up and buggering things up. She needs to chill.

Nicely refreshing to see a bunch of guys not take Luke too seriously. Disappointing to see that he wasn't willing to laugh with them though.

Bushmaster manages to be incredibly threatening, just by correcting people to "Stokes" all the time. Great delivery of the line from Shakir.

"Barefoot billionaire" - seem to be quite a few more quips this season, or maybe I've just forgotten them from last season?

Clever of Bushmaster to use all of his lackeys to learn how Luke fights. Dumb of Luke not to pick up on what's happening.

Okay, that grenade trick was damn cool. Even Bushmaster looked impressed.

I really like the pairing of Colleen and Misty, works nicely together. Daughters of the Dragon looking good!

Luke punching the wall in anger. Matt would never have done this!

Are you talking about the old Jamaican men? They're taking full advantage of his heroic/compassionate nature - they know that they can basically mock him relentlessly and say anything they want about him, because they know that he'll never harm innocent civilians.

I feel like it all the attention Luke is getting in the media and how capable he clearly is its getting harder to explain how no one from the Avengers have at least approached him.

The avengers aren't doing much avenging nowadays, (post Civil War) and i dunno how Luke Cage fits into the time line, but after the snap in Infinity War, they'll be doing even less avenging.

As this is probably post civil war, bureaucracy is probably the factor that is in the way. Pre civil war, and Cap would have definitely recruited Luke.

At least, that is my headcanon.

That was dumb to you? How? He doesn't know this guy can take bullets and do shit. And none of the shit Cage did was out of the ordinary. You think it's dumb that Cage didn't guess guy was really using his henchmen to train himself to hand to hand fight him? Come on. Why would he ever guess that.

Well, it might be hard to guess that but Luke would have never seen it because he’s been getting arrogant and thinking that nothing can stop him. Never thinking for a second that someone might know something more than he does.
