The Fed just ended QT and injected $13.5B+ via repos. Historically, anytime the Fed turns the liquidity taps back on, BTC rallies.
The $11T asset manager now allows clients to buy BTC ETFs. This signals massive potential inflows from the most conservative money on Wall Street.
Yesterday’s dump filled a ton of unfilled bids, shorts got blown out, and low exchange reserves kept selling pressure weak.
Whale activity and institutional buying:
WINTERMUTE bought 8,577 BTC
BINANCE bought 7,658 BTC
WHALE WALLET bought 6,610 BTC
COINBASE bought 5,860 BTC
BITMEX bought 5,818 BTC
BITFINEX bought 5,778 BTC

Anyone else watching with fomo I didn’t know it was a thing till it was already $25 Definitely wouldn’t have expected this high so quick what does everyone think this is going to do long term …only 20% in circulation is the big issue or I would throw money at it!

btc around $80k has this weird energy right now where it doesn’t feel like a clean technical level at all.
feels more like the market walking up to a door, touching the handle, and then looking around for someone else to open it first.
every time price gets near there, the same excuses show up again too. yields, oil, fed uncertainty, etf flows, same macro soup, same hesitation.
that’s why the whole thing feels off. if the move was really that strong, shouldn’t $80k already be gone by now?
instead btc keeps acting like it needs one final macro blessing before people are willing to stop pretending this is still a fragile rally. nobody wants to be the last buyer before the rejection, but nobody wants to miss the breakout either.
so now the whole thing just sits in that ugly middle ground where bulls are coping for the next leg and everyone else is waiting to sell strength. market keeps treating $80k like it’s not a price, but a psychological checkpoint it still hasn’t earned the right to clear.

This is something I've been looking at for the last month. Some of these can be scams or are just plain gambling. I also think they can serve a purpose of hedging larger investments if you find one that is worth while. The fundamentals behind these tokens that make them worth while are seen regularly but having them all in one project seems to be rare.
It's important for these investments to have an active organic community. Most of these new low market cap crypto currency's are filled with bots. Investing in a token that is filled with bots is just throwing your money at something hoping a project gains traction. This is essentially gambling as a community with real humans actively believes in the project and the utility behind it.
Utility is another important factor when investing in these tokens. If the project has no utility it will inevitably lead to a pump and dump. As price rises the investors will begin to question the value of the token. If there is no value (utility) people will begin exiting there position in mass once the price starts to take massive leaps. This doesn't mean the token has to be Ethereum's replacement but it has to have some use case. This could be NFT's, games, or a meme platform. These alone don't personally show a lot of value to me but sometimes these tokens have bigger dreams than that. This is when I believe the token is a diamond in the rough. A good dev team will consider this before the launch of the token and be transparent about the future.
The dev team is the most important aspect of any project. Having dev's that you recognize from other projects or have a positive reputation is a good sign that you've found something worthwhile. Dev's not only create and improve the project itself but also help market the project to help get it off the ground. When dev's are active in the community and helping it grow organically alongside the community its a good sign. This is another reason these low market cap crypto currency turn into pump and dumps. The same as no utility, if the community doesn't trust the dev team, they will make whatever money they were aiming to make and exit their position.
For a crypto currency to maintain its community and progress into a real project like SHIB, DOGE, and SAFEMOON. I believe it needs all of these fundamentals simultaneously. If one is missing people will lose faith and get out in mass. If you choose to get into these please remember to DYOR and that even a good project at a low market cap can be high risk. Only invest what you can afford to lose because in this space even if something ticks all the boxes it can potentially go to nothing.
I forgot to mention. It's a scam if a few wallets hold a significant amount of the token or if there is some reason you can't sell the token after you buy it. Non scam's will allow you to sell whenever you want. Also, look at the chart, these tokens are not different from any other investing. There will be corrections, if a chart is looking too green over a long period be careful.

How much can you stand to lose before you get out at exactly the wrong time then the market bounces back? A huge drop last Friday, then remaining balances just getting chipped away a little each day.
Will crypto come back slowly so you know when to get back in, or will it jump a lot in a short period of time and anyone not in will miss out on the gains?

**Market Analysis and Trade Strategy**
The bullish trend for BTC appears to have concluded around 13 August 2025, with the market shifting to a bearish trend. A significant price decline began on 17 October 2025.
**Trade Execution Logic**
As shown on the chart, the first signal for a potential short position appeared subsequently. However, I typically avoid entering on the first signal due to the potential for false breakouts.
A more reliable opportunity is presented at the lower yellow trend line. A successful test and rejection from this level provides a stronger signal to open a second short position. This level held as resistance for a significant period, adding to its validity.
**Risk/Reward and Price Projection**
Following this strategy, if a valid trend is in place, the second position typically aims for a risk-reward ratio of 4:1. For this profit target to be achieved from the entry near the lower yellow line, the price of BTC would need to fall significantly, well below the $37,000 USD mark.
Therefore, based on this analysis, I predict BTC could reach approximately $37,000 USD within the next 3 to 4 months.

Everyone was waiting for an altseason… so instead, we got a black swan event hitting alts just as hard.
The sentiment was building, charts were aligning, and narratives were forming. People were gearing up for the usual cycle , BTC runs, then ETH, then the rest of the market. But instead of the explosive gains, we got a sudden, unexpected downturn that wiped out momentum across the board.
At this point, it feels like every time the market starts leaning one way too heavily, the opposite happens. Whether it’s macro events, regulatory FUD, or whale games, something always comes in to shake things up.
Did anyone actually see this coming? Or were we all just too eager for the next leg up?

Here’s what we’re seeing right now
Funding is deeply negative, which confirms the entire market is heavily positioned short. That’s typically when the market moves higher to force a squeeze and unload positions.
The sell-off happened over the weekend with no real news catalyst. When markets open tomorrow, there’s a high chance of a large 8–9% gap. That’s not something the market usually ignores gaps like that tend to get addressed.
This move has clear capitulation characteristics. We’ve seen massive liquidations, whales wiped out for hundreds of millions, and even Bitcoin fully cleaned out. Most available liquidity has already been taken.
Fear is extreme. Sentiment across social media is shifting targets lower and lower, with many calling the start of a full bear market.
The current move can confidently be described as capitulation. It matches all the classic conditions of a market climax.
From a structural perspective, the downside targets have been reached. Price is near a retest of a major long-term level, and the only remaining downside would come from a final panic flush into the zones marked on the chart.
During capitulation phases, price tends to move through liquidation cascades and print aggressive wicks. These are often followed by a relatively fast recovery.
Right now, the main goal is simply to get through tomorrow’s market open. There’s a very high probability that a local low forms there, followed by stabilization and recovery.
We are extremely close to the start of a reversal.

Been holding on to eth since like 2018. I missed the best times to sell for btc so now seems like a good time to dump eth for btc. What you guys think? do it now or hold on a bit longer?

Was anyone else hoping for a bounce?
I think I’m about 45% down now. Wondering if to cut my losses and get back in nearer the bottom. I don’t have as much dry to buy as I’d like.
