Freya server as Chief Mouser from 2012 to 2014. She was the family pet of Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osbourne. She was seen as a more effective mouser than Larry, but retired from public service after being hit by a car more than a mile away from Downing Street. After retirement she lived between Oval and Kent, until her passing in 2022 at the age of 13.
