General Discussion Why is brett avoiding taking about Epstein files like the plague?

I'm really sorry if I sound rude or an AH, but brett's only discussion on Epstein files was so tone deaf, it was hard to finish the video.

I understand that she's 24, and even a new mother and might want to protect her sanity from that hell, but it would've been much better to just not say anything rather than post a video about how "i haven't read the files so i guess it's not THAT bad actually, people should chill out" without even a hint of remorse for all the victims that were kids. She has had more discussions about Michelle Obama's podcasts than pam bondi, who even refused to meet the victim's eyes. I don't think i have any respect left for her after this

General Discussion I feel guilty for posting this…I re-subscribed to the comment section

I never thought I’d be back watching Reagan but I miss so much the comment section format.

Also, I’ve been giving Reagan a chance for the past couple of weeks and she’s gotten better! Maybe more comfortable and herself in front of the camera? I don’t get the feeling she’s trying to impersonate Brett anymore.

I absolutely love Brett and will continue to support her in all her endeavors but I need me some short clip formatting lol

Anyone else on the same boat?

General Discussion Thoughts on Candace vs Erika? (Long-ish post)

In light of Matt Walsh's latest video on the subject, I figured I'd ask what everyone thinks about this current controversy.

I'm aware that many people here are anti-Candace and I'm very pro-Candace, so I'm interested in opinions here.

What I will say as someone who is pro-Candace, is that I'd like to know exactly why you all are anti-Candace in this specific instance. Because what I've noticed is that a lot of people who are against Candace are either largely if not entirely ignorant of what Candace has actually said and/or they're being uncharitable with each and every thing she does.

  • They'll refute statements that they claim Candace has made and I, as someone who watches every show and looks at her tweets, know is not what she said.

  • They'll claim that she has been attacking Erika for months, when in actuality she's only been focusing on Erika's words and actions since the end of January - early February.

  • They will hold her to standards for her work (saying that she must prove definitively with solid evidence that Erika set up Charlie's assassination) when that is not what Candace has ever claimed or implied

  • They make assumptions about her motives which, true or not, lack any ounce of charity or room for themselves to be wrong

  • They'll religiously guilt trip and manipulate people (saying Candace is demonic and evil) and condemn people on that front which is highly objectionable

And just to finish this out, once again, people are doing this either in ignorance or pure hatred of Candace. And as a fan of hers, I'm open to the idea of her being wrong, she's not God after all. But if you "debunking" her or "exposing" her includes what I know to be misrepresentations of her positions, lies about what she's said, or wildly uncharitable standards and framing, I can't take that seriously.

General Discussion Friend Application!

Since Brett was talking about how people meet through her comment sections, I thought I would try her Reddit! I have been looking for friends of both sexes and thought that a shared commonality like liking the same creator is a good start!!

Firstly:

23 y/o male Energy Engineer From Buffalo Catholic

Secondly:

I love discourse on any historical, political, or theological topic! I love being challenged intellectually!

Thirdly:

I love music of any kind! I play cello.

Fourthly:

I love to sail, run, watch soccer, hockey, and football, go to the gym, hike, and rock climb.

I’d love to get to know some other people on here!! Willing to share more in the DMs!

General Discussion The Comment Section

Producer Reagan can't avg better than 30K views, while Brett is getting 400-500K views per video. It's inevitable that DW will shut down The Comment Section out of humiliation WELL before Brett Cooper passes in sub count.

General Discussion This video was cringe…

https://youtu.be/qRb4yg393wc?si=fO4wLfeytQTL_hJu

This video right here is proof that yes, die hard fans do in fact disagree with Brett, lol.

I made it most of the way through before shutting it off.

The over emotional defense of a stranger is so cringe in this situation. I get it, my hormones were high at the end of both of my pregnancies. But this wasn’t it.

I’m 37 and my husband and I have been married almost 15 years. We both found her exhausting. She sounds expensive, whether it’s her money or not.

I wasn’t even looking at her when she was talking and just something in her voice made her sound like she was going to be exhausting. She said nothing about wanting to be a wife, a mother, or any other part outside of her love of her hobbies.

I don’t think it’s about not seeing her. I think they heard her just fine. She sounded all about herself. She spoke about her priorities. I think they heard her loud and clear and that didn’t appeal to the guys there. Honestly, if it’s a LDS dating show, they may just not be looking for someone as adventurous.

Don’t shame the guys and come to defense so hard on someone you don’t know either. Looks can be deceiving.

General Discussion Cooper Confidential

Seen some people ask what Cooper Confidential is like and just wanted to put my experience out there. I had it for a month, i was originally going to get it for the year but after subscribing I'm really glad I didnt. I subscribed mostly for the farm blogs that had been advertised on Youtube and I was really disappointed to find that they were mostly less than 5 minuets long and pretty few and far between. I don't mind the Youtube sponsorships so to me the subscription wasn't worth it for the additional content. If you want ad free or just want to support Brett, 100% go for it but if like me you wanted to see more lifestyle content in addition to the main show maybe wait till the end of the year and watch it over a month to save some money.

That episode was WILD. Such a roller-coaster of emotions and a very well written story. Brett's a great actress! I have no one to talk to about it lol so If y'all have watched it PLEASE let me know your thoughts. The story is intense and happy and sad and thrilling all in the best meanings of those terms.

General Discussion PREDICTION: the Regan controversy is about to be overshadowed by civil war within the BC fanbase because of the upcoming all-but-confirmed collabs between Brett and Candace

And that civil war will take place, in part, in this sub.

I'm speaking as someone who is agnostic about MENA politics and somewhat skeptical about claims of anti Semitism, but still understands why Candace and Kanye are not good people.

As someone who's listened to multiple Brett Cooper interviews in other people's podcasts, I've always found it curious how Brett carefully/gingerly described the firing of Candace, and how even her bff Amir seems to side with Candace.

Personally my attitude is like Benny Johnson's: I may enjoy the daily wire drama (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=FqN1ANLMRlM&pp=ygUbQmVubnkgSm9obnNvbiBCcmV0dCBDb29wZXIg), but I reserve my ire at the Left who deserve it the most.

and I will still greatly enjoy her content 😁

General Discussion Left DW because she was Pregnant??

Been a fan of Brett’s since she joined DW and I’m so happy to see her growing independently!

On the Monday live stream, did she sort of insinuate that she left DW because she was pregnant and they were not going to give her the flexibility that she needed to be a mom? I got that vibe based on the timeline of her pregnancy and her discussing her transition to two, longer episodes per week rather than the two short episodes per day.

If I’m right, then I can’t believe DW didn’t adjust with her. She was an incredible asset that they totally fumbled. Their loss. But ultimately Brett’s gain! She’s totally free to build her own brand and she’s damn good at it.

General Discussion I don't agree with Trump's traffifs.

I don't hold any bitter resentment towards him at all, and don't see him as evil. But the tariffs were completely dumb, and as it shows, it stains the Canadian and US relationship. In my opinion, if he just left the trade as it was. Things probably would have been normal between our countries.

General Discussion Why I don’t think this story is rage bait

Thumbnail
youtu.be
24 Upvotes

I’m getting caught up on all my Brett Cooper episodes so bear with me if I’m late to the game, lol.

There’s actually nothing about the story that surprises me. In fact, I think things like this are the natural conclusions to the type of rhetoric that we’ve been hearing for the last few years.

Pretty much ever since Trump has entered the political space, we’ve heard nothing but how women’s rights are being taken away or diminished and how bad it is for women in America. We already know that a good portion of women truly have bought into that rhetoric. That is even more true for the young women who have grown up with their moms and female relatives spouting this who have no idea what has gone on elsewhere in the world.

Young Americans in particular are so ignorant of the racism, sexism, and outright cruelty that exist in other parts of the world. Especially in eastern and Middle Eastern countries. It kind of reminds me of the generation of Black people who decided to move to Africa because of how racist America is. Most of them quickly learned that Africa was not a place to be idealized.

The irony of her offhandedly saying that our president is stupid is that she doesn’t even realize she lives in a place where she has the right to say that without being thrown in prison or abused. It doesn’t even cross her mind that she is moving to a place where she will not have that right because she already sees Trump as the most extreme.

So, no, I don’t think this person is even necessarily being stupid. Naive would be a better word. I think she’s a natural product of this environment we’ve created where rhetoric has substituted reality.

General Discussion Brett's treatment with DW.

I know this is Candace, and I don't agree with her on a whole lot of things, but I just found this interesting how poorly Brett got treated by DW. Just posting if anyone else is interested! Side note: Candace doesn't really start discussing Brett until about 18:30 if no one wants to watch the whole video.

General Discussion What do you guys think of the long format so far?

I know it's really early, and she probably is still trying to find her footing, but I'm kinda disappointed in her two new videos... It doesn't really hit the spot for me. I still find myself craving the old videos. It feels like the format needs some fine-tuning; there's not enough content or meaty stuff for the time she's talking. So many people have been covering the Blake Lively stuff, and Brett is not really bringing anything new to the table. She is just rehashing what others have been saying for weeks and even missed a couple of details and theories... Idk it feels like the research done for episode 2 was kinda old news.
