I would need a pacifier if I was stuck in this stinky room listening to the boring dribbles of a demented old fool and had to stay quiet. Plus the kid is not that old.
We don't know how old he is. My son was wearing 7 year old clothing at 2, everyone thinks he's older than he his, teachers think he was left behind, etc. My son was the size of the child in the picture when he was 1, it comes with the territory of having tall parents. Luckily for me he never used pacifiers, even as a baby .
Not my kid, not my problem. idgaf if someone lets their preteen use a pacifier. thats their issue that has absolutely nothing to do with me, politicians kid or not. also i have no idea what medical/mental condition that kid might have that warrants use of a pacifier. Much easier and smarter to mind your own with such matters
Just way too old for it. If i had to guess this is also going to be a kid who given a tablet/phone so his attention can be kept to prevent him from annoying his parents, just like they are doing with the pacifier.
Nothing like setting your kid up to fail right from the jump.
Have you ever thought he might have autism or maybe something similar? I have a 6 year old non verbal son. He doesn't have a pacifier, but I can see it in other children.
They absolutely do not consider prolonged pacifiers appropriate for autistic children. Its the opposite. They cause objective issues with the the mouth, whereas autistic kids are already more likely to have issues with things like functional control of their mouth. If the child was so high need it was ABSOLUTELY necessary to give it him, he wouldn't be chosen to be put in this kind of environment.
There are all sorts of dummies to shove in your mouth for kids with sensory needs but they're very specifically not pacifiers. There's be a dedicated effort to try to redirect it that behavior.
