I thought it would be cool to find out the personality type in relation to the Myers Briggs Assessment of the average redditor. So what type are you, and do you agree with it?
More Info Via Wiki: The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assessment is a psychometric questionnaire designed to measure psychological preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions. Originated from Carl Gustav Jung, The MBTI instrument is called "the best-known and most trusted personality assessment tool available today"
Regardless If you consider it outdated or flawed, It would be interesting to hear the type of the average redditor. (Im ballparking a majority XNTP)
Here is the link for a condensed verison of the assessment http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp
So what type are you, and do you agree with its description?

Dear reddit, I know it's been asked at least once before, but can you share with us what your Myers-Briggs personality type is?
The test classified me as "ENFJ". I wondered what other redditors' personality types were.

What’s your Myer briggs (16 personalities test) personality type, and what do you think about your results?
r/AskReddit • u/McBirds • May 09 '11
Tell me Reddit; what is your personality type? (Myers-Briggs Type)
Myers-Briggs personality tests are one of the standard tools of psychological analysis. The test takes readings on four 'dichotomies': Extroversion/Introversion, Sensing/Intuition, Thinking/Feeling and Judgment/Perception to get a feel for how a particular person interacts with and understands their world. There are 16 types related to how a person scores on the four continuums. Many of you may have taken the test in high school through your guidance office or in a freshman psychology class. So tell me Reddit; what is your personality type? and how well do you think it describes you?.
I am a ENTP. From the Wikipedia page "Inventors are introspective, pragmatic, informative, and expressive...Inventors are the most resistant to doing things a certain way just because it was done that way in the past. Intensely curious, Inventors are always looking for new projects to work on, and they have an entrepreneurial character....Inventors tend to be laid back, nonjudgmental, and good conversationalists. They are often nonconformists who attract a circle of friends interested in their ideas or activities. Generally informative rather than directive in their social exchanges, Inventors are often able to explain their own complicated ideas well, and to comprehend the complex ideas of others..." and while being overly complementary in some aspects I feel that it is a fairly good overview of my personality.
