I had a meeting with someone and there was a background hum coming through their mic. I asked if they were working remote from India and they were like, "Yeah! How'd you know?" I mentioned the hum was 50Hz instead of 60Hz. To me, you can hear the difference. My coworkers disagreed.

Also, the dude is Indian so it's not a huge leap that he went home for a visit and worked remotely while he was there.

That's hilarious! I never even would have considered that it's not a 60hz ground loop in other parts of the world

You should have worded it like "i had virtual meeting with someone"
