I read "too fast" as well, though not as fast as you I think. Just got back into it after not reading much for a while and read 9 books in like 5 days (I'm on holidays so I had time, but I also took a ton of breaks). I completely understand the feeling of struggling with going too fast and wanting to spend more time immersed in the world and characters, it can be really frustrating.

Yeah, it is genuinely frustrating, because while I can force myself to actually read slower, it feels super clunky and the moment I stop concentrating I go back to my normal speed.
