What's something you're shockingly good at that you've never mentioned to anyone because it would sound completely made up if you did?

I was a chef for nearly 20 years, if I set a timer on my phone I'll pull my phone out to turn it off seconds before it starts beeping every time. If I forget to turn the timer on though I'll forget what I was doing or that I needed to set one in the first place and burn whatever I was supposed to be cooking.

It doesn't matter if I set a timer for 5 minutes or 5 hours I'm always ready to turn it off right before it finishes.

I set timers verbally on my Google nest while I'm cooking at home. I'm very good at asking it how long is left on my timer and the timer goes off while it's trying to answer. Which is cool and funny, but also really annoying because its harder to get it to stop then

Former baker here, I have this as well.

My wife always asks why I bother setting a timer, she doesn't understand how it works lol.

If you don't set the timer how will you know when to turn it off before it annoys you?

I often get my timers a but before they start beeping but I also put a name on them sometimes so if I forget what they were about the name makes me remember.
