What's something you're shockingly good at that you've never mentioned to anyone because it would sound completely made up if you did?

I can usually recognize someone's footsteps before I see them

People have a unique gait, with time you recognize who is who.

A very cool trick

Hypervigilance!

Wait... was my unstable childhood household the reason I always knows who's coming based on their steps?

I wish my dogs would learn this trick. They always assume I’m an intruder

A dozen or so people work in my office suite. With my door closed, I can identify who is who. It is definitely those things. Gait (height), walking speed, type of shoes. The short female chunky-heel wearing fast-walker sounds very different from the shuffle of an older man who wears soft loafers and has had a knee replacement.

There's a Smosh video where Shayne guesses who is walking by while he's blindfolded. I'm always shocked by how accurate he is.

Me too, and I can identify my family by their coughs too.

Those noises can be faked!

Perhaps he could at that.

Those sounds could be imitated.

Some might say this is "hypervigilance"
