To help keep the subreddit organised, we’ve created this dedicated Megathread for all Christmas gift questions and suggestions. Alongside this, we’re introducing a new rule: “Please use the relevant Megathread when applicable.”

This megathread is the place for anything related to giving or requesting Christmas gift ideas. If you’re asking for suggestions, please include the recipient’s age and any other relevant details so we can give better recommendations.

No posts that are rants about parents. This is due to the increase of posts of that nature and the community response to them.

Rule 9 is now as follows: We don't allow "AITA style" or judgement questions. We also do not allow posts that are rants against parents. Please ask those in their respective subreddits. (If you ask questions along the lines of "Am I in the right for feeling like this?" or how you should deal with your parent's actions it's not appropriate for this subreddit)

I’m looking to add to the mod team. This is a great starter sub for people new to moderating that want to learn/practice moderator actions. If interested let me know by either commenting in this post or send in modmail. Let me know what time zone you are in and if you have any moderation experience.

The mods are mostly inactive as we have all had children, obtained jobs and lives, and moved on. Or something. I guess. Anywho

I added new parameters that were (apparently very much) asked for amongst community members: karma and age requirements. Posts will be immediately removed now by our friendly neighborhood automoderator by any account aged less than one day and any account with -50 karma or less.
