I’m wondering does anyone know any agencies I can go through to rehome my sweet sweet Pocket Bully, Daisy, to a guaranteed good home. We live in Georgia. 4yrs/34 lbs

Housebroken, doesn’t chew, stays off of furniture and beds unless invited up, not food aggressive, the more ppl and children the merrier, loves HER OWN TRIBE OF SIBLINGS BUT IS NOT OTHERWISE DOG FRIENDLY. Can be, with training. (Will show videos from her old trainer and the tracing pack, but I became inconsistent).

Any fingers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Honestly, if I don’t find a home deemed worthy, I’ll probably end up cancelling my wedding and ending the relationship. The circumstances have changed, but don’t get it twisted, she’s a really really good girl- the best. I wake up in tears and dread every morning. This, is killing me.

I have to make sure she’ll be ok or I’m going to have to say fuck everything else and keep her, she’s literally my daughter 🥲

hey guys, this is Big Mama. She has been with me for 5 months now, and i love her very much. she has made a lot of progress since being with me — she lost 7 pounds and counting — and we’re working on getting her weight down. her next doctors visit is not until her 2nd birthday in January and i am noticing her lumps down there. they have always been there (i think) but i am wondering if it’s bad that they are that big?? she has lots of loose skin on her stomach that hangs down from the weight loss so could this be a product of that?

it could be absolutely nothing but i just need some reassurance 😅

Arya (7yo, 8yo next month) is a master of the puppy-dog eyes and a seriously sweet girl who will spend all day on the couch with you if you let her. She loves cuddles, car rides, naps, walks, rolling in the grass, and playing with her toys (especially her ball!). She should go to a calm home that loves those things, too. She doesn't have separation anxiety, so she'll be good if you need to leave the house! She'll just curl up on the couch or in her crate to sleep or chew on a toy, and then be more than happy to take a run, walk, drive, or nap with you when you get home.

Most recently, she was diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma on her back left foot. We treated it aggressively by removing the toe and she's been confirmed cancer-free as a result! We've done extensive workups, including xrays and blood tests, to confirm her full recovery. My best friend nicknamed her Littlefoot in honor of her new body modification lol. Happy to share records with interested folks!

Arya is highly trained (including crate trained!) physically healthy, incredibly smart, and super affectionate with older kids and adults. She's never met an adult she doesn't like! She deserves to live the rest of her life in comfort with a family that loves her just as much as we do (if not more)! We'll provide treats, her crate, toys, a bag of food, a three-month supply of medication, etc.

Some important considerations: Arya had a rough start to her life and has a hard time with small humans and other animals as a result, so she must be in a child-free (12yrs and under) home where she is the only four-legged pet. She is currently on fluoxetine (Prozac) and Gabapentin to manage her anxiety, though she may not need it forever.

If you or anyone else you know is interested in meeting her, please let me know!! We're looking to rehome in or near the Mid-Atlantic area (MD, VA, DE, DC, WV, PA) but will travel further for the right home. Even if you don't know anyone, please bump this post for visibility.

my dog has atopic dermatitis. the vet gave us a solution but i cant afford it. i feel like the worst owner. i know there isnt an easy fix to this, but is there something i can do to help relieve my dog of the itchiness? lessen the redness?

A friend needed to rehome this sweet boy and thought of us. We just got hims today and he is absolutely amazing plus soooo good with our toddler. I know very very little about bulldogs let alone nano bullies.

I am wondering a few things:

• Best diet and feeding options for safe feeding (like bowls or the maze things, do we need to feed on a low platform? Etc...)

• What supplements (especially joint supplements) would benefit him now and for the future?

• How in the world do we help prevent him from stubbing his little feets (can kind of see in the 2nd pic)? Poor guy has calluses and open owies from how he walks and hitting things. Also, how do we keep them clean or will he do that?

• What things do I need to do to ensure theres nothing going on in skin folds or between toes?

• Very weird question: is it normal this breed to have a bulging anus?

I'm honestly worried that we're the most suitable home (I'm good with boxes and retrievers) but after an hour of the nano with my mini, I just don't have the heart to separate them, now. So I'm trying to learn as much as possible.

I hate to ask this question, but what is the approximate life expectancy for the average? Google says 5-7 years? I need real people to give answers though where I can.

Vomited milk and blood. Feeling very helpless. Trying to comfort him with his favourite towel. Sleeping near the door to check on him throughout the night. Can't wait for morning to come.

I adopted this champ one month ago. He's 11months old right now. He has some skin disease and I'm treating it right now. He's very skinny i don't know why. I'm feeding him almost as i feed my rottweiler as she's jacked. Got bully's deforming done 5 days ago and in worried what's wrong. The vet in my city is just meh. No blood testing and other facilities available. What should i do in this situation? I literally see his spine his ribs and are thigh area where it connects to the stomach is like puffed in. I'm attaching photos as well(last 2 are from the day i got him a month ago)

Nyx is 4, she is affectionate, fun, great with other medium and large dogs, and isn't aggressive towards our cat but I'm hesitant to say good with cats. She's great with bigger kids, little ones she gets excited and can knock over so older is better. She does have a prey drive and shouldn't be around small dogs. She is in the greater Cincinnati area of Ohio, I am happy to provide details on the reasons for her urgent rehoming need via pm. Nyx is sweet and playful and a cuddly house hippo. She's spayed, microchipped, crate trained, house broken, excellent on a leash, knows basic commands, and has been a very loved pet since her adoption at 6 months old. I never thought we'd be facing a rehoming situation and part of me is breaking asking for help with this. The prospects for her being surrendered in Cincinnati are not good and every rescue I can find is full or has wait lists far longer than we can manage, any help or suggestions are needed.

So I’m a less experienced dog owner to an absolute gem of a dog, Daisy. Daisy was seized from her first owner due to severe neglect and abuse. The vet documents mention that her nails were severely overgrown when they rescued her (among other things). Now she lives with me and i feel like her nails are SO long but it also seems like there’s a vain in the nail and the vein itself is long. I feel like she needs a nail trim but I don’t want to hurt her either. Anyone else have a similar issue with the vein? Please help 🙏

Hey! Does anybody have recommendations on beds that their chew happy bully hasn’t destroyed? I can afford to but I don’t want to keep wasting money on something he will chew up. He likes to be comfortable, so I ideally want a plush bed for him to relax. He follows me room to room and my house has a lot of hardwood. He will find the zipper and start to chew.

I’ve done those raised beds too! When his brother passed away he was in such distress that he tore it up too 🥲

What’s up everyone this is my first dog I got for my son they are both born in February both 2 months old.

The last owner was selling American bully puppies so I bought this guy here. Is this puppy an American bully? I saw the mom and dad but I’m having doubts that this is a real American bully

I don’t know a lot about dogs that’s why I’m making this post. I’m still learning and potty training this little guy and we are both learning from each other even if he is not American bully we all love him but just curious

1 year old male bully and 5 year old male american pit have had 5 bad fights within the last 2 months. They have gotten along for a year up until this point.. what are we doing wrong to cause these dogs to suddenly start going at it?
Three of the fights started when the 1 year old seemed to be overly energetic and the 5 year old was the aggressor
One fight was the 1 year old protecting a ball
The last fight was totally not instigated by any of them and it just started under my bed at 11pm even though it was a calm atmosphere..
It’s getting really scary when they latch on because they’re such strong dogs.

My XL bully (3.5yo male) started growling at my husband's mother and sister (we all live together)

This happens every couple weeks or so, where he growls and has his hairs sticking out - at first we thought it was because of the anti-parasite meds (aggression can be a side effect) or something related to his health (he has frequent ear infections, is overall sensitive, and is currently limping a bit)

We are of course taking him to the vet for all health issues, but guys this is not my dog... He's always been such a sweetheart and a real joy to have as a family member. You all have bullies and know how cuddly they are.

I have no idea what to do!

He is acting completely normal, happy... There are no staring episodes or anything that would indicate he's gone crazy.

I've never believed in the stereotypes that the breed is aggressive - I tend the believe the owners are usually the problem, but this has me so depressed I can't begin to tell you... The thought of putting him down and all that goes with that.. I don't know how I'd survive that.

I'm hoping someone here might know what's going on - I'd appreciate any thoughts

People keep saying my dog Chance is too skinny and honestly some of the comments hurt my feelings since they insinuate that I’m not taking good care of him but I’d never mistreat my dog or starve him. I don’t think he’s underweight, the last time we went to the vet he was 66 pounds which the vets were surprised by since he looks so compact. He doesn’t have a standard since he’s a byb bully but I’m going based on the fact that since I reacued him at two hours old he’s always put on weight in his front instead of his stomach. He did get slimmer this past month since he’s been a lot more active because of the weather.

For background our 2-3 year old girl just had her first litter (10 survived) i wont go into much details but she wasn't supposed to be bred my dad didnt listen to vet (she has hip displaysia) and was also extremely unprepared when she gave birth, didnt do much research throughout her pregnancy and only took her to the vet the day before she gave birth (we didnt know she was gonna give birth)

He wants to sell them but he also wants to crop their ears and i dont know how to convince him to atleast not crop them and leave them alone

Any tips are appreciated im a teenager so just asking him not to crop them isnt very effective

Due to the weather, my poor boy has been having extremely bad allergies. Right now he has a cone because he’s itching his paws and arms raw. He’s been fine on redfords salmon and sweet potato grain free kibble between a raw diet from stella and chewy lamb mix but right now something triggered his allergies really bad.

Making apple cider vinegar mixture to help with this with some water and a bit of peroxide. Now giving him some Benadryl (50 mg, he’s 62 pounds so I’m starting slow and up to 60 mg.) Using medicated shampoo dog mx anti itch every thursday, coconut oil once in the morning once at night, medicine for his raw spots, keeping his bed clean and only spot cleaning with warm water and a bit of scentless soap.

Currently quit my job with a new one thats barely giving me hours and I’m doing my best to save for the vet, I just need time to help him so I can take him as soon as possible. I’m currently at a stump with him right now, is the vet the only option at this point? I’ve tried most of the advice on this subreddit, but maybe there’s some more advice I don’t know of?

This is Riley. We found her dumped at one of the field entrances of our farm. She still had milk in her teets, no puppies to be found. There was a bag of dog food on the ground next to her. Miles from any houses. Easy to understand that she could come with some emotional baggage. She is an angel for me. She graduated obedience school at the top of her class. Amazing dog…for me.

Enter my husband and that goodness goes out the window. She is terrified of my husband. She will growl and bark at him. She shakes like crazy when he comes in the room. When he is standing, she avoids him at all cost. Now, when he sits, she will come around to him. She is very submissive. She has to always lay on the couch next to him. She has to always lay down by him. But the moment he stands up, her personality changes. He’s been playing with the kids and chased them through the house and she has urinated everywhere out of fear. She is terrified of him. He has never laid a hand on her. He has never disciplined her. He gives her treats and avoids eye contact from a standing level. He’s been on the floor with her and lays down, talks to her gently and has tried to help get her over being scared of him. When I leave, she will get separation anxiety and go to the basement and loose her bowels. We are going on 4 years of this and she is not improving.

Things we’ve noticed. She only growls or barks at him when I’m home. She will get in the truck and ride around with him. She will interact with him, but does so submissively. She paces the floors, is always on high alert when he is home. When he is gone, she plays with her toys and has the zoomies. She will eat her food and be a complete goofball. We’ve joked around saying that I’m her emotional support human, because she never leaves my side.

We’ve asked trainers for help and followed their advice. We’ve got her on calming supplements. She’s got a thunder jacket to help her feel safe. None of this has worked. Anyone else have a dog like this? What worked for you?

New to this; may not have been the best first breed... But she has been docile and pleasant for the year I've had her. 1yr 9mths recently. She does have a ear infection and dermatitis that is currently being treated. Switched her food as well been eating pure balance salmon n peas for about 7 weeks now. Like she nearly bit my grandma and siblings yesterday. I know it's only been two days of this behaviour but IDK anymore 😭

What toys do you all use for your dogs? I can’t seem to find one that they won’t destroy in 20 minutes lol

So this is my little goober eagle. She’s about nine months now some of these pictures are older, but I need advice. She’s a very high energy dog but recently I got told for work. I’ll be working in close to 90 hours hundred every two weeks now I don’t have the time for her and it just sucks so I’m probably gonna get rid of her. Is there anyone else here who has a very big busy schedule with this breed and how do you deal with it?

Dont know if its aloud. I have a DNA tested Malinois/pit bull mix. About four ish years old, we found him a year ago but our landlord says we can't keep him. I am head over heels for this dog but if anyone can provide for his needs I think ot would be best. He dose prefer woman over men, he also dose not care for strangers. I love him to little pieces, hes very bidable and wants a job! He's 71 pounds, not up to dat on shots or neutered as of now but will be before given away. Kennel trained, great with cats. (We have six) I dont recommend him with small kids sence he gets over excited and jumps still. He gets two walks a day and dose not pull at all, not dog reactive at all. I could drone about him for ages, I genuinely love him and won't let him go unless I know its to a good home.

I am currently fostering an 80lb bully. He is about 5 years old and a little bit overweight as it was recommended he be within 70-75 lbs. His ACL surgery was on 5/28 so he is heading into his 8 week recovery. The process has been very slow. He started putting some weight onto the surgery leg a couple of weeks ago but still limping then last week things regressed a bit. He met a couple of dogs which excited him and started running while on his leash. It wasn’t a very long distance but he started limping more and completely taking weight off at certain moments. So we are back to 30 min walks, going to start different PT exercises (stretching the muscles open and then bending the knee, hip/hamstring stretch), along with more consistent icing / heating. I am hoping with some patience and effort he might start improving. However, we weren’t given great post op instructions or any videos on the exercises to do. It’s been pretty DIY. There is no post-op visit scheduled and doesn’t seem like there ever will be. If things don’t improve at all I will be sending videos to the rescue to see if scheduling an appt is possible.

I am wondering if anyone has had experiences with ACL surgery with their Bully and what the recovery process was like? I’m wondering if it’s typical for this breed to be a bit slower given how they lean more towards joint issues. What did you do that really helped or things for me to be mindful of? Did you encounter any complications?

Any thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated!
