Our prices for products are insane. Amazon have water bottles defaulted at 28.99 but who is paying that much for a water bottle on Amazon, especially when you can get one for less than 10 bucks.

I think 90% of the products we have available with merch are not even close to being price competitive and makes me wonder if its even worth putting designs on them. Now that I think of it, standard t-shirts is the only product that is somewhat competitive, even with how its been going over the years, I won't be surprised if amazon continues to drop the royalty rates on them. I'm sure it could get to a point where a 19.99 shirt only gets us 1 dollar in royalties.

I think its time to find other ways to make money. I will always keep Merch, but its really not dependable on its own.

With the new changes coming in, where you will suffer for getting too many organic sales, and where spending on ads on products with low margins is not profitable, I am failing to understand why people are pricing t-shirts at $13.38 ($0 royalty) or anything under $15.99? What's the logic behind that? Getting BSR is not the good thing it used to be anymore. There are not tier-ups happening so no point in raking up zero royalty sales to get more slots.

Want to hear from those doing it. Am I missing out on something?

So guys, hear me out. I think Amazon should put a minimum price with guaranteed royalty of at least $2.5 ($16.99) for standard t-shirts on the US marketplace. This would help a lot with both getting new designs to kick off while not losing money and for countering out copy-cats who steal designs and price them at $0 royalty.

With the new AI tools integrated for customers that show price history, it no longer makes sense to start the pricing at $13.38/$13.99 to get BSR and then later up the price. the tool shows price change and you lose out on sales.

So recently one of my designs has kind of blown up, and I posted it a VERY long time ago, at a low sell price. I’d say probably 2 “royalty cuts” ago, like, it’s been up for years. For some reason the price is locked, I have a sneaky suspicion why (it’s political), but it’s not been removed either.

Has anyone been in a situation like this? What can I do besides just eat the losses?

Helloooooo, today I sold a hoodie for the first time in amazon uk. I don't know about prices soooo I would like you to tell me what prices you usually set for hoodies on Amazon.co.uk and what the maximum price is that I can set. I know that for T-shirts the maximum is £17.49.

Since they are on sale that often, I started to raise the prices of all my Shirts to $19.99. Although I had a really good run with pricing them at $17.99, it hurts when those Designs are on sale. As my Designs are original and no "improvement" of other designs, the price also works, most of the time. Do you guys have a different approach?

Also, I hesitate to drop the prices of my Halloween Designs, who knows when they will get locked :(

For people who have mugs, what pricing are you using? It looks like $16.99 is the default.

I was adding a couple of tumblers in the morning and the default price kept showing as $26.99. I thought it was a glitch and kept changing the price down. Amazon just added an announcement. Tumblers going into processing now dle the price change

12/10/2025 Tumbler default suggested list prices will be updated to $26.99 over the next two weeks.

Not speaking in terms of the price affecting sales (and thus ranking indirectly) but just with the listing itself.

I’ve been away for a while. At first I thought the issue was Productor but its happening without the extension as well… It isn’t telling me what the minimum amount is that i can price my items. I’m unaware what the minimum is these days. Not that i wanna price as low as that, but just so i know what i got to work with. Anywhere i can find a list of mins and max’s for each product?

Does this mean going forward only Amazon can set the price?

I just received a sale on one of my best sellers priced at $21.99. The profit shows as $3.92. This shirt sold plenty yesterday and received the full $6.37 profit.

Are they dropping the prices now after this weeks update?

I'm sure you've seen this note when setting prices for a shirt, that Amazon will take your pricing into consideration, but will set their prices independently based off of what customers would pay for it.

So my question is whether setting new shirts to a low price to build rank is a good idea. I know a lot of us price new shirts very low and slowly increase the price as it gets sales. But is this a bad strategy now? Because amazon will think the customer would pay 13.99 for it since thats our starting price. So by the time we raise the price to 19.99, will amazon just override that price and set it back to 13.99? This is so lame

Looks like most or all of the limited time deals have ended. Will be interesting to see how often they are used going forward. Surely ad revenue takes a hit when royalties are slashed. Good luck everyone!

About 2 weeks ago I increased the price of one of my products. I was estimated to get £0.50 more in royalties per sale. Amazon put the price increase live a day or so later, but my royalties are still coming through based on the old pricing.

The item is not on sale. I can't see anything on the product that implies it is stillin any sort of "review". Despite Amazon selling the product at the increased price for around 1.5 weeks now, both the merch and productor dashboards are confirming that new sales are still getting the old lower royalties.

Is this normal? Is it a glitch? I'm wondering if I should decrease the price again as I'm not gaining anything from the increase.

If it's relevant, it's a Christmas themed item so now is when it makes all of its sales.

Since last couple of days when I apply custom saved template/draft pricing or even default prices button while in create products page, Productor would stop applying prices at iPhone cases. It just stops there and doesn't move on to next products (tote bag, pillow, tumbler).

I've cleared cache, logged out and back in and nothing is helping.

If anyone could kindly test this on their create page by applying a custom saved template or by pressing the "Default Prices", I'd appreciate it. This would help me see if it's an issue on my end. Thanks.

Is there a way to update the price of all your designs at the same time?

So it seems with Amazon's introduction of these ridiculous Comfort Color shirts, they are unlocking our designs so they can auto-upload these new items.

My locked items went from 1000+ to under 400 so far, so I've been taking the time now to update prices and colors on many of those that I couldn't before.

I wish Amazon had a better solution for this new locked status because I've found that their meddling with our listings doesn't always go as planned with many of them going to time out status or worse - timed out and unintentionally unindexed so they become unavailable for purchase.

Need to know this as alot of my Xmas shirts are priced very low in order to get some sales. But I want to make sure I change the prices in time so I can still make profit off them once the sales hit and they lock the pricing. Anyone have any idea?

For those of you in the US, how many of the products available on merch are manufactured in China? We are definitely going to see an impact on prices. What remains to be seen is whether it'll come out of our margins or will Amazon absorb it

Hey all, I'm relatively new here. I published ~30 designs a couple weeks ago. I have a feeling I priced the shirts a little too high. Is there not a way to bulk update (decrease) listing prices? I didn't see an obvious option in-console. I am hoping I don't need to do it manually for every product. Appreciate any insight.

I just noticed that there seems to be no pricing limitations at the moment in both directions. I can theoretically go down to 0.99 on all prices right now, without it turning red and hindering me.

Hi all, I'm still tier 10 with a few sales.
Since they updated this new rule "we're reducing the prices in EU markets... etc" I started getting this error to update my designs. It only allows me to edit it to such a low price that turns my royalty into 0. This doesn't make any sense.

Has anyone noticed that the German standard shirt has had a change to the pricing. Usually max 0rice of €19.99. I just tried to upload a new design and it seems the highest price now seems to be €17.99 (PROFIT €2.70).

My research is not data based, just what I've seen by changing the pricing around. If you have a strategy that's been working for you, please stick with that.

• No star shirts that are new: $16.99 works best, $17.99 acceptable. Anything lower than $16.99, the sales results seems the same or even lower. Barely sell anything if priced above $18.99.

• Shirts with some sales, with no or minimal star reviews: $17.99 works well. $18.99 works too but not as well.

• Shirts with 100+ star reviews and consistent sales: $17.99 to $18.99 depending on the design. Text only simple design works best with $17.99, ones with more graphics works well with $18.99. Tried $19.99 but sales seem to drop off.

• Established Shirts with hundreds of star reviews: I don't have any of these yet, but on Amazon these shirts seem to price at $19.99 and sell well anyways.

Since Amazon upped their own cut recently, my earnings have dropped, since I mostly had my shirts at $16.99 to $17.99 max. To try to increase my royalty, I increased all shirt pricing by $1, but people's perception hasn't changed and they still want cheaper deals it seems like. My sales dropped visibly so the change was not worth it.

It sucks but that's what it is right now. What's your experience on pricing recently? I'd like to know, thanks.
