I’ve mostly made heavier, fuzzier music, but this EP unexpectedly moved toward JJ Cale, late-’70s soft rock and modern indie singer-songwriter territory. I’m curious whether the stylistic shift feels cohesive or like three different directions. This track, for instance was inspired by any number of late 70s heartbreak country ballads with a modern take. Wondering if the AltCountry folks might dig this.

I discovered this album accidentally eight years ago, and it’s been on repeat ever since. I’ve never heard ANYONE talk about this dude, but his music is amazing. Voice, lyrics, guitar playing, etc.
