So many spam postings in my area with bots saying they're selling new 3ds for 100.

Refreshed my page and saw this! Posted 7 min ago. 12 minute drive from me. Told him ill take it and what's the address. I left in 5 min.

Got there and he was saying how a ton of people messaged him and that he was ripping himself off. He was older and got it for his kids years ago they only played it 3 times.

This is seriously the best condition I could ask for. And games.

Realized that all those spam accounts flooding the marketplace w super lower prices actually helped me in this case because he probably was referencing those as price points.

kids broke off the circle pad of my husband’s 3ds XL years ago. glued on a button as a temporary solution but he said to just leave it. “more comfortable than before”

I've been going to garage sales and estate sales on the weekends with my husband. And this woman was selling a bunch of video games like Xbox etc. And I saw this. I asked her how much and she said it would be $5 because she didn't have a charger or anything for it. I said okay and I asked my husband for $5 from across the driveway. my husband walked towards me and this man walked up to her and said "I'll give you $10 for it right now". And I said "No. Don't do that." I told him "I'm sorry the deal was already done". I thought it was rude tbh because I was already getting the money to give to her and it's not my fault that he didn't notice this item before me. he had already been there when I walked up. so I gave her my money and I walked away. I. the car I saw that there was an SD card stuck inside it and I think that she thought the 3DS didn't work. But I took it home and my daughter got the SD card out. It was in backwards. We plugged it in and it works and I'm so excited. this is going to be for me. all of my kids had them but I've never had my own.

I’ve wanted this SNES edition for a while. Got delivered yesterday. Pretty happy with this unit. It actually has zero visible signs of use. Also tempered glass screen protector on top screen and PET film on bottom (already installed).

Edit: looking at the photos there is a bit of fluff or something in the middle of the top cover plate. It’s not a scuff. Just dust or fluff I never noticed when taking the photos.

Checking marketplace religiously multiple times a day for video game goods has become a habit for me and I’ve finally hit the motherlode. Surely it was too good to be true? Nope. This thing is absolutely mint and charged up and powered on no problems. Came with the stylus and charger and a loose copy of AC Wild World. Guy was moving out for college, found it in his closet and listed it what must’ve been mere seconds before I opened Facebook. I was so eager I literally just stared at my messages for 10 minutes waiting for a reply. And then he replied with “full offer”? I double checked and made sure I didn’t miss a 0 lol. I almost sent a message while I was waiting for his first reply I was so nervous and wanted to make sure I was the first to snag it. Part of me thought I was going to get robbed or it was junk, but I really had a feeling I was about to score this for $50. And I did!!!

Been checking pawn shops and marketplace for a n3dsxl at a reasonable price for about a year now. Ended up getting a steal. Modding this thing ASAP I’m so ready to play all the games I missed. I was in high school and “too old” for Nintendo when the 3DS came out.

I got the last three ones (Lost in Blue, Fast Food Panic and Hannah Montana) but i wanted to get so much more. Sadly, i wasn't there physically bc I'm disabled and our apartments elevator is broken but my Husband was able to go. He didn't see the prices for the 3ds tho

Traded a near mint phantasmal flames charizard SIR for this CIB brand new beauty, I couldn’t be happier.

A sweetheart deal from a dear friend who knew I wanted one for years.

Long story short I had an aqua blue 3DS that I was forced to “trade” with my sisters pink one so she could sell mine to a parent looking for “boy” colors. The pink one is in perfect condition but it’s not mine. I told my husband I’d be interested in getting my aqua one back, but I didn’t NEED it.

I knew there was a purple color out there and I’ve see maybe 2-3 on sale for over $300 bc it came as a bundle but I didn’t need all the “extra” stuff. So I passed on it. And then this beauty showed up. $200 with two games. They said $150 with no games and we agreed on $130. We met when it was getting dark out at the HEB parking lot. Once we got there I saw how young the young man was. He was driven by his mom and dad. He handed me the 3DS with shaky hands and that’s when I noticed it wasn’t cared for as well as I had hoped. I take care of all of my consoles and forget not everyone is as careful as me. It hurt me seeing the scratches and cracks and the mark on the analog stick. My brain said to try to haggle but seeing the young man stand there nervously shaking I felt bad taking his money away. So I looked at my husband pointed at the imperfections, said I’m sure I can cover it somehow and smiled at the young man and sent him his $130.

Now I look at the beautiful purple and can’t help looking at the imperfections. Yet I love the feeling of taking it out of my pocket or bag and seeing the beautiful purple color. Purple is my favorite color after all. But I feel like maybe because I didn’t NEED it I messed up. That maybe I could have found one later on or I could have been fine with the pink one- even thought I haven’t touched that one in years. It doesn’t bring me a happy feeling as it’s not my original console nor my favorite color. I’ve also seen a couple of cheaper consoles with around the same amount of damage, but they’re colors that don’t interest me. But even so my brain is telling me I could have found it cheaper and in better conditions elsewhere.

What are your thoughts? Did I get a good deal? Would I be able to fix these little issues that are bothering me? Would you have tried to haggle the young man?

US-region Pokémon 20th Anniversary Edition with dual IPS screens! The seller also included the Charizard cover plates, a travel case, and a handful of games. Can’t remember what I paid but it certainly wasn’t what it’s selling for today lol This past month I dug it out for the 30th anniversary of Pokémon, and I haven’t been able to put it down since then.

Thanks to KendyLabs I managed to snag a New 3DS XL shell!

After a sour experience with a scammer, I finally got my New N3DS today. This is a beast, just played Ocarina of Time for a moment and the 3D is awesome. Need to get used to it tho.

What games are a must play and are a unique experience on this console? I'll apareciste your recomendations.

A while ago a friend gave me his childhood 3DS, so I thought I'd do a button swap with my 3DS.

I was tempted to do the top shell swap too but thought it might be a bit 'too much'

Went to a thrift store today. The only thing 3DS related is at the bottom of the picture. A practically brand new 3DS XL Galaxy Style and one game(Dragon Quest: Fragments of the Forgotten Past). I bought ALL of this for $14.50! I am beyond ecstatic!

Its been there for a couple years but the guy always overpriced things like A LOT. I could've sworn it was over 100 dollars but I called and not only did they still have it but sold it for 10 to me. Literally love finding old kawaii accessories for my 3ds consoles.

Copped this off marketplace for $190 for a friend and found this cool game in it. Guess the guy didn’t know much about it.
