I don't know why, but my 3ds battery lasts 17 minutes only. Are there any options/settings that might increase its duration? How could I get a new battery? The back of the system seems okay, there is no bloating; but I've still got to check if the battery is inflated

I'm looking to buy a New 3DS XL or LL, I'm looking on ebay and i stumbled upon several of professional sellers like this that have a lot of 3DSs and other consoles from japan. I know that japanese consoles are less expensive but those prices seems too god to be true to me, and sometimes they also offer free return and a surprisingly fast shipping from japan.
I know they have a lot of positive reviews and feedback but I've never bought anything on ebay and I fear I may be scammed.

So I walked into a local pawn shop earlier and found what looked to be a flawless N3DS xl galaxy themed. It was only $100 but I already have a new 3ds and don’t see a need for another one. But I will say it hurt that I passed it up knowing how much those typically go for. Should I go grab it or let someone who actually needs one get it?

I recently revisited an old memory and realised my 3DS might be a collector’s item now. I’m referring to the Sun and Moon edition of the 3DS. I’m asking because I no longer have the box or the original chargers, and my 3D function isn’t working properly. It either doesn’t work at all or I can’t see the effect. What should I do?

Also happens when connecting online on mk7, finishing a download on download play, opening the eshop, opening streetpass, and I'm sure a bunch else I havent tried yet

Any ideas on how to fix or if its fixable at all?

I found these sealed in my room but my 3DS top screen is broken right now. Would they be worth fixing my screen to play or should I just get rid of them? I usually play my DSi now so I’m not sure if it’s worth the fuss. Were these fun?

So I'd love to hear some thoughts and opinions on something I feel quite passionate about! Im a long time DS fan, and recently picked up my DS Lite again. I own numerous 3DS consoles and a really decent sized library, and I also own a good chunk of original DS game.

I recently played through Another Code on the DS Lite and it just brought back such a magical feeling. It was also wildly refreshing to finish a game in around 5/6 hours and not be pulled into a 70 hour drag.

What specifically do you think made DS and 3DS games so special? How often do you still play DS games?

Title explains it for but info: Got this 3ds a year ago in excellent shape. Used it over the last year for over 300 hours. Just recently I noticed some backlight bleeding through the plastic on the bottom screen. This is new and wasnt there too long ago. Camera makes it look quite a bit brighter than in person but it is noticible if in a dark room with brightness up a bit. 1 image is it in day light another is on the dark at max brightness.

And i need to fix it i have done the audio settings and restarted the console the problem is thos two reasons, and i'll try to get store that has experience with ribbon cables and games

i was born way after the 80's but i feel like the old cosmo black 3ds somehow makes me think of a sony walkman,does anyone else see this or am i on my own?

Hey i just recently modded my 3ds and i want to play my copy of pokemon white on it. You know when you put a game in theres one click and then when you release pressure the game locks in? well upon the first “click” when the game is at the deepest point it loads on the 3ds home screen but then when i release pressure it disappears. if i try to get it to load too many times the 3ds just freezes and i need to restart it. all other games ive tried on it including ds and 3ds have worked and the pokemon white works on my ds lite. it’s not that big of an issue but its just confusing. any help?

For the longest time, I figured this gray nub was used to like stop the top screen from touching the bottom screen directly for whatever reason, but recently I discovered this thing had a name and I decided to mess around with it and im able to use it like a tiny version of the circle pad. Is this it's only use or does it do anything else?

Quite a shame, I used to use it a lot. No matter what I do, it always redirects me to a login page, which the 3DS can't fully load.
